Jesus has been great today. Great signing. Now if Jovetic could start playing we might be able to say four great buys. Oh and Garcia's done ok since he came on. Nervously bites his finger nails!

Is that our first competitive win in Wales since 2003?

Great result. Well earned 3 pts. On to the FA cup now. Disappointed to concede late on though

From having no wide players & no crosses, we are now possibly the most dangerous team in the league from out wide & have the best wide player in the league.

Looked dodgy at one point but a wins a win. The kind of match we tended to lose in the past. Kolorov actually was pretty good after a dismal 1st half.

I remain baffled at how easy it is for teams to get at us even when we have put 2 more defensive players on the pitch. We still attack with a lot of players and when it breaks down there will be 4 or 5 players out of the game. But it's the way we play and I will just have to get used to it I guess.

A bit disappointing we didn't get another goal.We had the breakaway chances but just didn't get one right.

Kolarov MOTM for me, he was almost brilliant. Best I've seen from him. Not Negredo's best game but then he can't be brilliant every week. Flourishes best in the big man little man role with Aguero. Dzeko ok, but I'm still perplexed as to how a top level footballer can have such a piss poor first touch. Hart should have done better for their second, great strike or not. Shit foot movement.

But more importantly of all, what the fuck was Phil Dowd doing all game? What did we get, 5 bookings? In a game that wasn't at all dirty. Gave them a free kick whenever we breathed near them yet we were pulled, tugged, floored at every opportunity and he did nothing. Terrible refereeing, I just don't understand how he gets away with it week after week.

I do like the partnership between Zab's and Jesus. They go forward together and defend together which makes it very difficult for anybody to get down that right side.
