Never liked Tim Sherwood, but his 'they were there for the taking' comment just now, was wonderful.

At last someone has said it

And there's me thinking they were coming to get their title. Must be listening to too much talkshite.
As you just pointed out, play anyone half decent and they're out of their depth. Nice to see their diving antics have been sussed.

The rags are outraged at webb - the ref who's universally recognised as being biased in their favour - they're just sooo funny!
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

So will the media now point out that the gap has widened to 9 points ?

I totally see that happening ... Liverpool might take that 4th spot so Everton won't get in to top 4 I think but still will finish above the rotten lot ... same thing then, they won't get CL and finish below Everton ...

He'll probably try and take credit for that though ... saying it's his hard work of a decade over there that's praying off like he said when they beat him at the swamp.

Apart from the fact that some teams will still roll over & die for the rags, which will give them an advantage, realistically they are in competition with Spurs, Everton & Newcastle. It's obvious that City, Arse, Chelsea & Liverpool are better sides.

Of course they have Rooney & RVP who are capable of carrying them, but will they, now that Bacon has gone ?

They have a big problem getting top five imo, nevermind top 4.

Gollum really is a dick. Thought they played well? Gobsmacked he was asked about diving? Then claiming a penner instead of a dive. Still in the title hunt? Doesn't need to sign anyone cos his squad and team are good enough?

Long may he reign. There was more to laugh at in that 5 minutes than a half hour of Sarah Millican

To be fair he can't really say we are crap and we are cheats; the squad has been over-hyped for years, we'll struggle to make top four and there's no money to improve. Even if it is true.

Weird if he really thinks they played well.Up until they scored they were appalling.Had they not got a goal back immediately the fans would have been booing like mad as Spurs got another.Once they scored their panic made it looked like they were playing well but it was all hopeful stuff as Spurs sat back.

Reckon that might be his best defence when they finish out of top4. Every man and his dog knows rags midfield has been poor for 2 years and there is no money. At least its an excuse. As for the diving he looks more of a cunt by condoning it.

What a wonderful New Year, is it to late to say 'Ho Ho Ho' ;-)

Just goes to show how many points they used to cheat out of the system. Taggart was worth more to them than the game itself and although he's been sat on the bench for the last couple of games the ref's are now growing a pair and telling them to fuck off.

A very good weekend, very good indeed.

Re the refs. Maybe Gollum doesn't put enough in brown paper bags for the refs liking. A real pleasure to watch today and Webb waive away protest after dive after kick after push and give them what they deserved, fuck all
