aaron bond wrote: I didn't say we played badly, I said we didn't play too well. Just because we had the same number of chances on target, does not necessarily mean they were good chances, so they don't need to show them all. For example, Fernandinho's volley in the first half or Edin's header at the end of the match were both 'off target' but warranted inclusion in the highlights because they were good chances. The only effort of ours not included which could have been was Silva's in the first half when he kept the ball from going out of play for a goal kick with a nice bit of skill, and then shot across the goal (but actually it wasn't very close). For all our possession today, we didn't create many good chances. Palace, on the other hand, created some good chances with the limited amount of time they had on the ball. That's what they showed on MOTD. You moaned about the MOTD highlights and analysis of the Liverpool game when that was very fair, so you clearly just like to moan about MOTD. I think that's a bit sad, but each to their own I suppose.

I agree, they showed Palaces very good chances and their counter attacking play was excellent and should be shown. What I am asking for is a fair representation of the game in which many of those chances came from a break down of Several of the 23 or so efforts, from a poorly playing team, that they were magnificent in defending against. Show how Palace defended and countered from a few seconds prior to their attacks, how they worked bloody hard to get the possession and represent the game correctly, to not do so does Palace a discredit as much as it does their opposition, in my opinion it wasn't done and a cursory mention after the edit is a poor cop out.

You further do me a discredit as I also 'moaned' about the Arse game (the one were Arsenal played really badly against us) so would that promote me from bitter, through to sad and onto delusional? I have aspirations for my motd voodoo doll collection.

You'd think that with 5 goals and our game being the early start would be first on MotD tonight ...

How are they going to do 15/20 minutes on the last 5-10 minutes of a game. Bellends.

I always think the non-televised takes should be on first, since there's no legal opportunity to watch them until the sky game choice, so I'd have put Arsenal then Chelsea on as the first games.

Rags on 4th though. Good job they were playing spurs as at this rate they're going to be on last soon.

Fuck me, Oscar gets 9 out of 10 for that one and I reckon the Saints goalie's on a decent packet following that first goal.

Oscar - class player though.

PS. Just turned over as Maureen came on (Philip Schofield), how liberating.

Oh, it's fucking started! Those who employ the ref's need to have a real look, eh?

That is something a fan would say, a sending off for the keeper where he had no choice?

I agreed with mst of the decisions in the Rag game, good or bad for Spurs yet the Beeb seem to think that all decisions should have gone the Rags way.

Clearly the City contingent tonight have different thoughts.

Bruce reminds me of a fat Peter Kay while Branda reminds me of a dirty bird with his herpes lips.

Yaya was given MotM by SKY but Didi Hamman pointed out his weaknesses in his holding midfield ability. Surprising it's taken and "expert" so long to highlight it.

And couldn't disagree with what he said either - mainly because it's been said on here many times over.

Hansen just described us as "probably the best team on the planet". He may just be right, as well.

They did a good job to show clips of the penalty, Rose's dive, and a few other bad decisions against us.

Credit to them, they were filled with praise for us. But when you beat spud 11-1 over two games, how can you not?

I had to have a lie down after that comment! Still can't believe he said that - I reckon that was Alistair McGowan doing a voice over ;)
