I agree, I don't want to see them anywhere close. Honestly if I was given a button to push that would cause them to be immediately liquidated and no longer exist as a football club -- you bet I'd push it. As quickly as possible and many times to ensure the deed is done.

I don't want to see them ever win a game again, and the lower they can fall the better.

I'm not interested in us competing with them for anything, its far more fun this year competing with Arsenal and Chelsea.

My sentiments exactly. Although, while I don't think I could resist pushing the button, five or six seasons dropping through the divisions to the conference has a huge attraction for me.

he Italian enforcer says that a switch to the Red Devils would have left him on the brink of taking his own life

Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has claimed that a move to Manchester United would have left him SUICIDAL.

United reportedly made a summer move for the Italian, but the 30-year-old rejected the chance to make the switch to Old Trafford.

The Italian international has since claimed that the move wasn't the right one, as a transfer to the champions would have left him contemplating suicide.

According to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, De Rossi said: "It was a good thing that I didn't go to Manchester United, now I would have committed suicide.

"Last summer I didn't feel comfortable, I didn't recognise myself in the relationship with my teammates and with the fans."

United have struggled to adjust to the absence of Sir Alex Ferguson and currently sit 11 points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal in seventh.

They have lost four times as Old Trafford already this season and were beaten 2-1 by Tottenham Hotspur at home on New Year's Day.

Meanwhile, Roma made a flying start to their Serie A campaign winning their first 10 games and conceding just once in the process.

They remain unbeaten this term under Rudi Garcia and currently trail leaders Juventus by five points.

De Rossi's side return from their winter break with a crunch game away to Juve on Monday.

From the MUEN, here is an Italian speaking rag's explanation of DeRossi's actual words:

Wor Bobby

12:44 PM on 3/1/2014

De Rossi said nothing of the sort MEN.

What he actually said was "Thank goodness I didn't go to Manchester United, otherwise right now I'd be killing myself" according to Corriere dello Sport.

De Rossi's comments were not a direct quote or a dig at United,it was an honest opinion that he wouldn't have been able to live with himself if he had left Roma in the summer and missed out on the chance to win Serie A with the club he spent his entire career with.

Have you no Italian speakers or do you just copy stories from other ill informed, misquoting, trashy newspapers

Well that clears that one up then.

An entirely understandable and reasonable reaction.

He'll be at Real Madrid in a few years. Horrible little diving shit but other than Shrek and RVP he's their only half talented player.
With regards to Moyes, we want him to do badly enough so they're a laughing stock but just enough so he doesn't get sacked. Because if he does they will certainly get someone better.
So about 6th would be great.

Once Shrek & RVP have fucked off Jismjazz will fade into obscurity. Without any quality around him his career will very quickly go the same way as Lee Sharpe.

We are told by Gollum that he injured it trying to hurdle Loris' challenge on Wednesday and he is out for some time. I didn't see him have to leave the field so I just don't believe him.

I can only assume he meant to say condemn or else was misquoted and the journalist typed 'condone' instead of 'condemn'

Thought it might have been a Freudian Slip on Gollum's part. After all, he brings on his divers near the end of games in order to get penalties.
