Haven't see too much of this thread but I find it staggering ( I don't really because it's always the same when we don't win) how the same old players get stick whether they deserve it or not.

It needs to be understood that all players cannot have the skills of David Silva and when they don't do what he would do it doesn't mean they deserve to be shot. Garcia did his job pretty well today as did Lescott. They had jobs to do and did them.Shame they didn't find the penetrative ball to assist for a goal but they did their jobs.

We had plenty of players out there today who arguably didn't do their job very well.Silva for one had a weak performance,Negredo was close to shocking but credit for the goal even if it was a tap in.The problem today was the overall team make up and shape.Milner tried his heart out as usual but he isn't a real winger and needs wide players, full backs included,to play with.Neither of the full backs today can do that.

BBurn had plenty to do with it as well of course with their set up and energy to close down. Our two front men were well handled. So it's a draw and we will beat them in the replay. Next

What part was that? Is it because he let Negredo go to sleep and let the man he was marking free to score the goal?

The only person to blame for Boyata's red is Boyata.Brains of a gnat.

THE PART WHERE lESCOTT SHOULD HAVE RELEASED THE BALL BEFORE HE GOT INTO MORE TROUBLE, HE PANICKED AND PASSED TO BOYATA WHO HAD 2 PLAYERS ON HIM.

THATS THE PART.

Errr the capitals don't help Carl except to confirm you are losing it again. The comment was re having a big part in the goal.

What can you make up for that?

I'm drunk, so I am gonna assume I wrote this.

On the money from start to finish there.

Carl, serious lad. Your hared for Lescott is well established, no need to drive it home.

Lescott plus 3 of Blackburn's defenders would have been better than our back 4.

As a team they defended better than most of the Premier League defences we have played against, even when we lost. We didn't miss many real chances today.

Well played to them.

Ten men and we got out with a draw replay at ours just an inconvenient extra game but saves them a trip to the middle east for a meaningless friendly. I'm fairly happy.

The cunt can only pass 5 yards (Hence his passing stats) but low and behold if hes in trouble as he will pass that fuckign HOT POTATO TO YOU no matter how many opposing players are around you.

FUCKING CANNOT WAIT ,CANNOT, CANNOT WAIT FOR HIM TO FUCK OFF.

This is a new level of shite even by the usual Lescott hater standards.

He should have done better for the goal, but to pick out Lescott for anything other than man of the match, next to that useless cunt Nastasic, is beyond a fucking joke.

I wouldn't mind, but Nastasic has been fucking shocking on the ball as well as doing FUCK ALL defensively.

Theball comes in, Lescott heads it out, the ball comes in to Nastasic, he fucking stands there watching whilst some cunt flicks it on. It comes to him on the ground, he passes it to Lescott, or he stands there like a cunt, then kicks it 20 yards to a fucking Blackburn player. The bloke served no fucking purpose whatsoever. The only time he featured in the fucking game, was when Lescott, Garcia, or a Blackburn player passed the fucking ball to him.

ALL of City's central defending today was done by Lescott. You could have stood Nasri next to him & the team would have actually improved. And he gets shit for Boyata making a cunt of himself ?

Fucking ridiculous.

All true Ted, except for the goal part imo.Lescott was part of the zonal stuff and Negredo was given the job of marking Dann and it's safe to say he switched off when the ball didn't go straight to him.

Sorry Doug I can't agree. Lescott was more interested in fighting than jumping for the goal although I agree Pants was Pants. Lescott's pass before the Boyata tackle was shit. He panics under pressure. The fault for the sending off was Boyata's own but that doesn't mean we should ignore Lescott's weakness on the ball which was clearly demonstrated in the lead up. There again he certainly wasn't the worst player in a City shirt by a long shot. The beast played poorly so did Milner. Garcia was Garcia Boyata's not up to it at right back Silva didn't play we'll Jesus missed a really good chance. The team just wasn't up for it. You can't win by just turning up against a Championship side. You can expect them to defend well and fight for every ball when they're playing against the likes of us.

I think Pellegrini had a poor game. I don't agree with Dzeko and Negredo together but if you're going to pick them don't leave out your best crossers. If it's true that he took the wrong man off by mistake that's poor.

This match was made for Jovetic Rodwell and Micah but they're never fucking fit.

Jayko was better than Negredo today. The count got that switch right but it should have come earlier.

I would have excused Boyata for the defensive mistakes he made today, & he did his best to help out going forward for a cb playing out of position (I wouldn't fancy any of the others at right back) but kicking a bloke for no reason off the ball to add to his other deficiencies ?

Nope, do one.

I just don't think Pellers gets the fact that a fairly stable back 4/5 is necessary unless we have a set of world class defenders, which we don't.

Garcia is what he is so I have no idea why he stayed on. Deep down I hope it would've been Rodwell in CM today but his glass body put a stop to that.

Tinkering tacticless thom foolery needs to stop.

I hope City set the ticket prices very low otherwise the reply will be even more stomach wrenching for fans's pockets.

Am I being a grumpy fucker thinking Panti spills 2 out of 3 catches in every game?
