Yes, FA Cup is currently fourth in the list. PL will always be first, CL is important to owner's vision of the club's future and LC wins out because we are already in semis.

A major off day but having played so many games lately we were due one. Saying that, but for a major goalkeeping gaffe we would have won this tie.

One or two had stinkers today but we gutted out a replay and live to fight another day. Lets just hope the 4th rnd draw gives us an easier home tie as we could do with one. We also need Richards, Demichelis, mystery man Jovetic, Aguero, injury-addicted Rodwell and his physio room chum Guidetti to aid the squad.

That said we got away with it and Blackburn have had their chance now. Our forfeit is that we have to play a replay, but I bet Spurs, Newcastle and Villa would swap with us.

Without going to much into the game I thought that Blackburn played very well and brought a real energy to the event. We played well also but with another reshuffle of the squad it wasn't going to be easy. A draw was about right for me and at least we are still in the hat. The magic of the FA Cup continues.

However, during the match the commentators said we were supposed to be replacing Dzeko, not Negredo, but somebody cocked up the numbers. Has anybody confirmed this?

Can anyone who was at the game shed any light on this?

All over twitter now,MUEN picked up on it also. One cretinous City fan becomes "City fans abuse Lescott" in the media.

Apparently one solitary fan screamed at Lescott " Come on Scar Face give us a goal" or words to that effect, taking the piss out off his disfigured features.Lescott looked over to the City area where it was shouted from and looked daggers.Fans are adamant it was one solitary fan responsible for the comment.

Anyway Llescott cited this as the excuse for not clapping the 7,000 traveling City supporters afterwards and instead took to Twitter to vent his spleen. What was said was wrong, but ffs was there any need to give the press ammunition to demonize our fans and paint our club in a negative light ?.

I remember the abuse Richard Edghill used to get,I remember our own fans screaming Sex Case.............Sex Case...........hang him. hang him, hang him at Andy Dibble, the poor fucking bloke was reduced to tears in front off the North Stand.Good job Lescott was not around in those days.

NB. I don't see todays result a bad one against an invigorated side in the FA Cup.

The result wasn't a bad one, overall performance was poor throughout the team, fair play to Blackburn as they battled hard and where often more composed on the ball than us, closed us down very well in their half too. We looked tired and disjointed, Silva was wasted shoved out so wide and anyone in front of Boyata (not blaming him for the game by the way, but he is not suited at right back at all - well not the way we play - just my opinion) had no overlap option and was often faced with getting past two/three defending players. At 0-1 we still looked unconvincing and prior that it was a very even game. We'll be fine at home I expect, just a replay is the last thing we needed really - Need to keep Zabba fit!

If that's what was said to Lescott then can you really blame him for being pissed off. No matter how badly anyone felt he had played it is completely unacceptable to start dishing out personal insults especially from our own fans. Very disappointed with whoever shouted that out and disgusted that it was one of our own

Lescott should have just given the guy the finger then most people on here would have creamed their knickers.

Or he could have just walked over, jumped the barrier and gave him a flying karate kick. That's never been done before, right?

If I was paid 100 grand a week they can say what they like. Soft twat.

As for the match, classic case of under-estimation by the whole club.

Did confirm though that Boyata is Championship at best, whilst the Javi Garcia mystery deepens - why is he here?

Pants badly at fault for the goal and it's been coming (he got away with a few when he's played). Nasty is vastly overrated. constant fouling, rarely wins a header and his legendary passing has disappeared. Boyata ,well i think everyone can see he's not near the level we need. There needs to be a clearout,a cull even. these players that aren't good enough need to be moved on asap thus removing the temptation to play them. as for the permanent sick notes it's not as if we didn't know Rodwell was a crock and Somethings not quite right about this whole jovetic saga. Guidetti sadly isn't going to make it for us of that i am pretty confident. On the bright side of things we have as good a first 11 as anyone in Europe , unfortunately between one thing or another we rarely get to see them!

On reflection we shouldn't moan about having to play another game.
Whenever there is an international break or the end of season break, we are constantly saying how much we miss football and now we have another match to watch.
It also gives us a match to watch on an evening we'd probably not be doing much on anyway.

I want to amen this. I'm gonna I think. Yes I will. Amen.

I'm disappointed we didn't win but it's not the end of the world. I think we went through two replays in our cup winning season, in the middle of trying to secure fourth and still being involved in the Europa League. Plus we had Jo. It was hard but we pulled through on two out of three fronts and we can do it again.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
