I wouldn't like to face Sunderland in the final either with our recent record against them (sooo hope they go down this year) but I'm terrified of meeting the rags in the final. We have a better squad and team than them, better everything than them, but over 90 minutes anything can happen and it would be oh so typical for us to fuck that up somehow or get unlucky or do something stupid and gift Moyes a trophy. And if that happens I feel like he would have a decent chance at turning things around somewhat.

That said if I'm deciding now smashing them in the final would be my wish for this year.

Understand where you're coming from about losing to rags in a Wembley final. However. Lets not forget we have to play the semi first. A likely win but lets not count chickens and all that. Secondly, the opportunity to batter the rags at their 'second home' is too good to resist. Yes, in a one off game anything can happen, (Wigan), but in this one it could be the record win at Wembley. Even a 1-0 win with a last minute og off Camel Gobs bum would rub their noses in it and would be immense

Interesting that nobody in the media is contrasting Evertons fortune with the rags. Both have basically the same squads as last year and look at the difference. it is much to early for Moyes to be judged.

He needs a minimum off at least 3 seasons.This season he has to asses what needs to be done,next season make his own signings and move players on,and a further season for his signings to gel and play his style.

It wont be easy,Things might get much worse before they get better,maybe a season or two in the wilderness,but they have to hang on in there,support their manager help him try and achieve his objectives.You cant just sack managers willy nilly,it is all about stability.

I am dreading the CapitalOne Cup Final ... I didn't like the draw for the semis at all ... I wanted them over two legs in the semi and I was a total 100% confident we'd get past them over two legs and then a relatively pressure free final against Sunderland or West Ham would have done me just fine ... problem with this whole scenario now is (and by this whole scenario I mean Moyes and scum being under so much pressure) ... if we get through (which we should) and they too get through then we have a one off 90 min game at a neutral ground ... AND that'll be seen as their best chance of a trophy this season so the whole scum juggernaut, their people inside FA, the ref unions and baconface calling guys left right an centre to get something done to screw us that day ... 90 mins, one off game is too fucking short and a single decision by the ref can tilt it and we all fucking know how many they have in their pockets ...
