That's extraordinarily magnanimous of you.
I sincerely hope there's no sarcasm intended.
Peace, brother.

Can someone knowledgable with the specific injuries etc and their rehab time shed some light on when it's said upto 8 weeks, what injuries does that rule out (obviously the ones we were expecting first, that might have required surgery etc.) vs now left with what type of injury could it be that can be healed within 8 weeks ... and then filter it down to what's the earliest ... so are we talking 4 to 8 weeks? 6 to 8 weeks? I think we'll see Nasri back in good time ... just in time for the Quarter Finals on of FA Cup and the Quarter Finals of the CL ... Oh, and this has nothing to do with him directly but it does piss me off a little bit more re: Jovetic ... Ffs we paid more for him than the Beast ... where the fuck is he really and these (Nasri's) are the shoes he needs to fill ...

I know this is possibly going to make me sound slightly bitter and normally I wouldn't wish injury on any footballer but I have to say I cracked a wry smile when it was confirmed Samir Nasri had been ruled out for 2 months today following yesterday's game.
Prior to his 79th minute departure on a streture the Frenchman had spent most of those 79 minutes getting in the referees ear after every single tackle asking for him to book Newcastle players.
I never understand it when such good players have to resort to telling tales and trying to cheat their way to victory when they have enough talent to do it without that.
Behaviour like this is up there with diving and shows a total lack of respect for fellow professionals and I certainly won't be losing any sleep over Yanga wiping that smug smile off his face - best thing the French defender did in the game sadly.
Have to say though that Manuel Pellegrini's view of the incident is almost equally as embarassing as Nasri himself - it was a cynical tackle that was rightly punished with a yellow card but the fact he has ended up injured from it doesn't automatically mean it should have been a red.
Obviously I think the opposition manager was probably just trying to deflect attention away from the embarrassing behaviour of a lot of his own players in that match.

I think it's more important that we make sure he is 100% healed, rather than trying to get him back a week or two early.

It also seems in the cases of Kompany and Aguero especially that we have taken as much time as possible to get ppl properly right again rather than rushing them back
Clearly our glass twins of RoRo and JoJo take this to ridiculous lengths but even their absences are not really hurting us. We will miss Samir but as SoF says it gives Milner, Navas and Jovetic a perfect opportunity to step up. I actually think Jimmy combines v well with David

So do I.
I think that where we miss Nasri, is if Silva hits a bum patch. If we can actually get Jovetic fit though, the Count has often used Nasri or Silva in the exact areas Jovetic plays; kind of deep lying 2nd striker, advanced midfield position.
He's not proven in the Prem for his playmaking abilities yet, but if fit, he's about 3 times more likely to score than either of them.

Milner is a great impact sub but no way is he a replacement for Nasri.......the more I think about the more I want that cunt that injured him to have his legs broken next match....fuckign wanker.

20 mins as a sub, and then likely a start on Saturday with 60 mins played then seems more probable.
Edin and Alvaro have carried us op top for the last months playing some part in every game so Id bet Alvaro poss sits on the Judi Dench tonight, and then starts with Sergio on Saturday.
