Hart was average before the second goal and then was demoted to shite after he stood and watched without being impeded.

He played Demi ahead of Lescott. Please don't pretend Nastasic would have been an improvement.

Of all our defensive options, Lescott is far and away the best partner for Kompany.

Then we need a 3rd (decent) defender to challenge those two.

Easy, Nastasic is much better than both of them.

Typically Demi starts passing the ball forward, much more than Kompany. Demi(might have touched the ball as much as midfielders) passes to Yaya/wings and Pellegrini might be seeing that as important for starting attacking play and prefers him over Nasti and Lescott.

I'm sure you are right. And why not, when teams come to the Etihad to defend and play 1 up top it creates this sort of opportunity for one of our CB's.

You must observed the whole game whenever ball start from the back, Kompany passes to Demi and he distributes.

We don't deal well with corners and we fail in that regard because Joe can't deal with corners.

Tell that to the old clueless cunt a few posts up , even the Spanish commentators asked the question why he was underpar , had fuckall to do all game and when it came down to doing his job, he was nowhere to be seen.

I think that most fans recognise that Joe Hart is the weak link in the chain but he's been with us on a long difficult and generally glorious journey so they feel that being honest about his many failings is somehow disloyal. They should listen because we would currently be top of the PL with at least a 5 point lead were it not for Joe's early season clangers and if one thing stops us from taking the title this year it will have been our having a goalie who isn't good enough to perform at the very top level.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Lescott just doesn't do anything for our attacking play mate , rightly or wrongly that's probably why he doesn't play.

Carl, you won't find me disagreeing about Joleon, but to play Demich ahead of Nasti is wrong in my book. He is too laid back for me.

Milner has to play on the left against Barca. Neither Kolarov nor Clichy could cope against Noone. God knows what Barca would do against them. That still leaves a big worry at Centre Back. The good news is we will pose a serious goal threat away which could be crucial if we concede at home.

Worst keeper in the league? Serious question. He's fucking wank with his schoolboy shit. Just do the basics right with our scoring ability and he can't do that...near post falling on his arse bollox then he stands flatfooted like a cunt when he should feel the free player in the box and go punch a fuckin ball. Cunt.

You complain about Demichelis being too laid back and then suggest Nastasic should play?

Have you ever seen Nastasic play???

When? 2011?

He's an uneven unmotivated fucker who is on his day one of the 5 best shot blockers in world football but the rest of his game is below average and these things will eventually cost us big time.

Get that Belgian fucker in here or something. We have a serious issue at keeper we will be lucky to escape from this season IMHO.

Ill start taking Dougs training reports with a pinch of salt as its obvious he has visual difficulties.

I think Hart never touched the ball for 27 minutes or had very very little to do.....but when he switches off he really does switch off.

Pellers needs to have another word.

Yes that's correct i did write that Nasti should play ahead of Demich. In my opinion he is a better player.

First goal the player has the entire goal to shoot at. Perhaps could have stood closer to the post but in that situation when Kompany sells him short, it's a tricky one.

Second corner goes in low so Joe can't parry it and then Demi let's go of his man. What you could get at that point is a reaction save but if you don't get it you can't really fault him for it as the trajectory of the ball is so steep.

Worst keeper of the league, you're having a laugh.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Hahaha too true. Demichelis is a decent basic defender and definitely better than Nastasic. The Toon game showed that as it was perfect for him.But his distribution is nothing special at all.He basically gives it to someone close to him who hopefully can play. That's the job of the defender on the ball.
