I actually wanted Liverpool to win this, keep them as far ahead of Utd as possible. Its always funny seeing them lose at home though.

This is the worst I've seen them play this season by quite a distance. I didn't see their Hull game though ..

Typical lucky scousers. Right on half time after they've been dogshit all half. 3-2 a virtual certainty. Have to listen to Rodgers crowing again about outstanding performances. Fuck off

They have been shocking but no doubt will win in the end. They have Suarez,Sturridge,Coutinho plus Sterling so not guaranteeing control of the middle of the park and Villa have been breaking superbly.

Dippers always look good going forward but they look lost in the middle without Lucas, Gerard trying to cover is just not good enough. They look very dodgy at the back as well with Kolo looking very nervous on the left.

Should be an interesting 2nd half but I'm not sure if I want the Dippers to win or not. On one hand it'd keep them well above the Rags but on the other it's Liverpool.

Scoring right before half time has given them a chance, so they may well do. I'd rather Liverpool finish 4th than Utd every day of the week so would rather they keep winning. They aren't going to finish ahead of us, and if they did somehow then we wouldn't deserve to win the league anyway. So I'm quite happy if they win, and if Utd manage a draw things will look much nicer.

So long as there is a realistic possibility that neither of the red vermin makes the top 4, I don't see any reason to hope for Liverpool success.

With a few grand in his back pocket? Astounds me that with 103 goals we are still to have a penner

Have to admit, when I saw the penalty awarded I shouted "for fucks sake" out loud. I guess my heart betrayed my head there :)

I'm really looking forward to Gerrard retiring, I've never liked him at all and still think he should have gone to prison for assault.

Villa in trouble now. At the beginning I thought I wanted Liverpool to win but now I'm not so sure ... !

Blatant dive. How does this cheating sod hold his head up? And commentators talking about great ball from Gerard and great penalty kick. Except it wasn't a penalty. You know he'll do it against City too. Sod off Scousers.

Bang on about Gerrard. One lucky fucker not to have done time. Also one of the worst diving culprits imo. Done fuck all for England as well

This is what makes the "offside" call on Sterling vs City and all the shouts of bent or poor refs so absurd. The number of times this scum of a subhuman has gotten away with this just makes any complaints their fans have muted.

I remember a while back I looked at RAWK a bit and there was a thread asking if, in all seriousness, Liverpool needed to start an investigation into whether referee's were cheating them and games were fixed (because of the Sterling offside against us). Presumably after being given 2 extremely soft penalties in consecutive weeks their opinion would have softened a bit...?

I won't hold my breath.

We can safely say anfield is a ground that over the years advantage to the scousers has won them more games than they should of, as for cheating and diving its now got to the point where diving needs a 3 game automatic ban,,,
Im sure rogers will say that they deserved it for all the other times suarez has gone down like a shot deer
