Not real; barca, keep up. And I don't just throw exclamation marks willy nilly, this one (OBVIOUSLY) conveyed that I kinda knew it wasn't exactly something I assumed would just fall into my lap.

But it would've been remiss of me not to throw it out there, eh?

I think if you want a ticket you will find one but it will likely be a black market job and youll have to pay for it so the choice will be yours. Finding 3 will be costly, finding 5 for a game like this is fanciful in the extreme.

Thanks for your insight. Pay for it you say? I'd never thought of that! Edited the OP now.

And thanks for the rather daft dreamworld request in the first place. Pay for it indeed you will if you want them - Id say about 150euros a pop and they'd be in the Barca end.

I doubt many of the City playing staff can come up with 5 in the City end. What next - 5 behind the Royal Box for the Capital One Cup final perhaps?

Wow, you get tiresome quickly. And that's some mileage out of this you are getting, Master Yoda - maybe you could use The Force to help a fellow blue out? I KNOW THEY WILL COST MONEY. Jesus Christ. What on earth is wrong with you man? Next time I have a request for City tickets which has a slim hope of success, I'll be sure not to mention on any City forums: thanks chum.

Oh, and here's a thought, if you don't have anything useful or worthwhile to contribute, why not STFU? I'm not sure why you seem so keen to bang on about this, but I hope your period finishes soon.

Id say you aren't the one to debate on worthwhile contributions based on this request but thanks for the good wishes.

Let us know when you are back in the real world. I wish you success in your ticket endeavours.

In all seriousness keep your eyes on the Barca website as they do sometimes open-sell tickets to non-members, though perhaps with a UK IP address they may block it for a CL tie.

Ive bought tickets for a Barca v Real game via that route. Otherwise if you know anyone in Spain at all maybe get them to try for you as the Nou Camp crowd is generally a placid one unless they are playing Real.

If you can't get tickets, but want to go out there anyway, just saunter into the ground casually around half time. I did that for El Classico at the Bernabeau, and nobody stopped me. This was a year after the Madrid train bombings, too, so security was at its 'tightest'.

Cheers for the heads up...wonder how placid they'd be if they were being torn apart by City? *remembers your point about reality*

Wow. Are you actually joking?

I think you'll find I called you 'a tad judgemental' which is correct as you were completely wrong, pointed out that you sounded like a complete bellend, which you did/do, because you were/are completely wrong, and said that you looked like 'a bit of a twat', which in retrospect is rather kind. Hardly tough talk, you absolute sausage, you.

"How come no one was on here begging for tickets for the Plzen game or when we played Moscow?" - supply and demand perchance? Hmmm? Maybe?

And for the record, I think there was a teensy weensy chance that Dronny was taking the piss when he asked if you were a bigger fan than him because he's only been supporting since the Sheikh, and would like a couple of tickets. Any of this starting to become clear yet?

Not that I have to justify myself to the likes of you (I'll just make the point to prove what an utter tit you are), but I've been going to City since the early nineties, followed us all over the country, have been through all the shite, as well as the inconceivable depths we've plumbed, and also had the absolute pleasure of witnessing the recent good times. BUT, I've never been to an away game in Europe, and apparently Barcelona in't too shabby an old town, so am spending a few days there with family and gf. Tickets for the match would be lovely. It may not be the most realistic of ambitions, but to not try would be daft, right?

So as for 'hitting the nail on the head' - not really - more like you smashed the hammer into one of your many thumbs.

Genuine question...

Given that our allocation for the away game is just over 4000, and the nature of the game, how far do we think it go before it sells out?

I think the starting criteria is 9000 points ?

The 'I've supported city for X amount of time' and 'when we were shit' and 'I live in Manchester' argument, I suppose these fans 'came out of the woodwork' for the pre-season games in South Africa and were in the Far East and were at the arsenal friendly? I'm quite selfish in my support of city really, I'm not interested in ranking myself as a bigger fan than anyone else, i would have thought we were all on the same side, supporting the same team?

So can you get him a ticket or not?

Chris, I am looking at going to Barca for the whole week, Ticket or no ticket. I went to the Nou camp on 19th October last year and spent 4 days in Barca, I loved it. Good luck with a ticket, if you end up with 7 can you give me a nudge as I am after 2 also! Me and my lad both have 4k points, which will not get me a ticket!
