He's a lifelong fan and had a picture of Ryan Giggs on his bedroom wall. He's therefore coming for love and their history. That they've doubled his wages is pure coincidence

Can you really blame him though? Mourinho has driven him out the club. He wants first team football and not just to be sat on the bench. He'll also want to be starting every week with the world cup this summer. Shame he's going to Rags.

It's a shame he's looking like signing for that lot as I always really liked him as a player.I find it difficult to understand how Jose has turned his nose up at Mata. Still think the rags in their current state would be better off addressing a number of weaker areas of the team than spending a fortune on one player.

it would have to be 55M or more i'd bet, which isn't really "real"....

Rags are desperate and have driven up the price for Mata by 10M i believe. I think he's worth 30M and Silva's worth about 40M.
