Scouse 1 at anfield. We have been a bit too fortunate with draws this season, and the penny is about to drop

Normally I hope for an away tie at a ground I have never visited, but I can't travel that weekend, so Brighton will have to wait.

I too had a feeling about Sunderland :-(

It will be 2-3 days BEFORE the Barca game but also just 3-4 days AFTER our home game in the league against Sunderland ...

Sunderland game is on 12th
Barcelona game is on 18th

Both of the above kick-off at 1945hrs

I don't see us playing on 16th, even if selected for TV, the TV company (ITV or BT Sport) SHOULD be convinced to put us on 15th, as if not on TV, it'll be a Sat 3pm kickoff so 15th in that case ...

Now first thing is we better get a home draw ... both before and after games are at home so travelling for this one won't be useful at all even if it is a short haul ... second, we better get an easy game and none of Arse, Liverpool, Chelsea etc. as that will really become a choose one of the two, which competition you want to stay in and prioritising one before the other won't work as no guarantees the one you give priority to might end up gone a round or two later ... so this tomorrow's draw alone potentially has our whole quadruple goal halving down to a double then ...

So 1- Home draw please, and 2- Easiest possible opposition please!

That was nt a bad team at all. I remember that day well. I kept expecting things to improve but they got worse and worse. Should have started Berti.
