we have only 3 'difficult' games left

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

we have only 3 'difficult' games left

Postby MilnersJaw » Sun Jan 26, 2014 3:50 pm

bar the champions league games we only have 3 'difficult' fixtures left.

arsenal, liverpool and everton away.

we play the rags away but that should be an easy win.

I also expect us to beat chelesa at home.

there should be no reason we don't beat everyone else and take the league.
Still here.

If we win the next two I'll start getting giddy. The next two, combined, make next week our most difficult (on paper) during the run-in (as far as league games are concerned).

By this reckoning Chelsea and Arsenal probably only have a couple of 'difficult' fixtures left too.

It's the "easy" ones that I worry about.

Wouldn't have Spuds down as a guaranteed 3 points either. They have a nasty spanner habit when it comes to us.

We won 4-2.

But i doubt we will win every one of our remaining fixtures. Be a pretty amazing achievement.

How about away to Hull three days after playing Barca away? We still have plenty of matches against bottom half teams desperate to avoid relegation.

This. It's also been the 'easier' games where we've dropped most of our points this season.
Every match has the potential to be difficult, especially when playing teams fighting for their lives.

How arrogant. No easy games in the premier league. We have a lot of work to do to win the league.

Ive read some bollocks on here but this might take the lot. Spurs Away, Utd away, in fact any away in the Prem lge is tough. Sunderland in the Cap One final - given our less than glorious record against them, and our.Mickey Mouse performance against Wigan - will be tough. Chelsea at home meanwhile will prob be our toughest game yet.

How quickly can you not recall what Cardiff City did to us away? How about Sunderland who at the time had won one from 10 and beat us away? All of these are traps, just as they are for Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. And even if United were a championship side, an away derby is never easy. Anyone remember the Benjani debut in a derby and what he did to United?

Are you serious? What about spurs on Wednesday and Chelsea on the 29th?

Exactly right, and I also think that because of our reputation this season, other teams are putting in performances against us that are usually reserved for the reigning champions. One game at a time and take nothing for granted.
