Agree with that. A draw won't be disastrous by any means, especially given our fairly poor record at WHL over recent years. However these are the games where potential champions can make a statement.
If we can win, it really will send a message out that we can beat the big teams away from home.

I really reckon both teams will go for it and can see it ending 3-2 either way. Could be a classic.

Watch it be 0-0 now I've said that...

In all seriousness, Spurs have recently hit some form and Adebayor will be really motivated. Potential for a high scoring game imo. Can see this one going either way but hopefully we can put in a strong performance and sneak the 3 points.
Shame Nasri's out, he always plays well against them.

you heard it first off this muppet. easy game lads.
Still here.

Cant see jovetic starting this one, on the bench yes but not from the start. I would think Aguero is nailed on to start.

I was thinking along the lines of Aguero just having come back from a long spell out and playing a full 90 when he wasn't supposed to yet and us needing him fresh for Chelsea at the weekend.

Why are we short in the middle? Yaya and Fern fit? Or do you just mean we are short on cover? I'm a bit out of the loop today so not heard the presser etc

He said thin, not short so maybe he wants to sign Fat Frank?

Seriously tho we have a couple of injuries. Garcia and Milner have some problems

Kun will start. He's our best player and can produce at any time. Tough game but we can win it as it's a tougher game for Spuds.

This will be tough. They have motivation enough after we drubbed them, and without Nasri or Milner going 5 in midfield doesn't look an option unless he punts on Rodwell which he wont.

Ferna and Ya Ya have to be exceptional for us tonight. Id snap your hands off for a point here if it were offered right now.

In reality, if we are to be convincing champions, we win this. If we don't, then we are probably just another Arse/Chelsea & the league is probably going to the wire, as this is the easiest of our 'hard' away games.

Whatever Spurs can or can't do as a threat & even if we let a goal or two in, if we turn up & play, then they can't stop us from scoring at all but if we play like we did first half v Watford, then we will get absolutely hammered. It's down to us.

Do our job properly, & there is nothing they can do about it.

I think the derby is the easiest of our hard games, or is it the hardest of our easy games? Who knows these days.

I wonder whether it's worth Jovetic playing in the Nasri role at least for an hour. Pellegrini specifically said he can play there and it presents a problem to Spurs which they won't necessarily be expecting.

Agreed. If Yaya and Fern are on it from the start and we put away our chances we will win regardless of Spuds. We are better. If we play our A game we will win. It is as simple as that. Equally, if we dont show like against Watford it is a tough fixture to get anything from

Would not settle for draw now.
If we give 100% then there is little to worry about.
A team that aspires to win the league must aspire for three points from every game.

If were 2-0 down at half time then its time to settle for the draw.

just nipped to the shops at dinner and had talkspunk on the radio and they were predicting the scores of tonights games and whoever was on with Colin Murray said, City have not beaten Spurs at WHL for 10 yeas so he is going for spurs to win 2-1.... where was he in 2011 when Dzeko demolished them on his own?

I admit we have a pretty poor head to head history at the lane, but he had his head firmly between his cheeks.
