I hope not, Guidetti loaned out and Neggers still not quite 100 percent (plus Aguero and Jovetic still coming back from injury).

He seems to be playing a bigger role and genuinely happier in the last few months. Would be extremely surprised if he left.

With Falcao out for the rest of the season and Traore loaned to Everton they could use a striker who is banging in the goals

swap with Falcoa?

Not heard a peep about this mate

On the Serbian equivalent of Sky Sports (Arena Sport) at around 17.30 our time, and on most news portals now. Can't find where the original story came from, though, as they all seemed to pop up around the same time, and quote each other...

Here's one example, which seems to be the earliest I can find. Says they're targeting Hernandez, Vucinic and Dzeko, but Dzeko is unlikely to leave now, and will decide his future after World Cup: http://www.klix.ba/sport/nogomet/monaco ... /140127117

Never heard of the 26 yr old, so from wiki:
He primarily plays as a combative central midfielder, often occupying a withdrawn position as a deep-lying playmaker and is described as a fierce and strong tackler.

Is he the guy who's contract is running out in the summer? I read something about it earlier. Supposedly the RAGs are sniffing around as well.

Could be some real truth to the Matuidi reports as the barcodes have agreed a deal to sell Cabaye to PSG.

We're told PSG deal agreed in principle for Yohan Cabaye is significantly higher than initial £14m offer. #nufc

Just saw this Cabaye news. Matuidi could be a good deal. I've seen him rarely but what I've seen he's been good. Supposedly he's like Fernandinho and will rival him and Yaya for those spots. Clearly Pelle doesn't rate Rodwell.

Didnt expect any transfer in's, would be good to get a player so cheap. If he comes in and kicks Matic's ass that would be a sight.

Frankly after Cabaye makes sense, but there is just not enough buzz about this to be real yet.

read something (albeit on Twitter) that said Matuidi has already signed a contract extension with PSG that will be finalized and made public once he finishes up with his legal battle.

They have asked The Count about transfers & his answer was basically 'no news at this moment about transfers in or out'.

He then added that the window doesn't shut for a few more days (with that cheeky little undead smile of his). If we had no intentions, he would have just said so.

He is up to something.

Mangela rumours have appeared on twat etc.

No news 'at the moment' wonder does that mean there could be news tomorrow?

Its a funny one but we are only an injury to Vinny away from throwing our season and a great chance of a bag full of trophies down the sink bt its not a great time to be bedding a new centre half into the team.

I would like Matuidi though, with garcia and milner currently injured and rodwell well rodwell we have no cover centre midfield so a cheap or loan there would do no harm.

Thats only two positions i could see us potentially bringing in someone for.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If that happened I'd be sanguine about winning every trophy we're in for. But I can't see it.

Doubt we'll get anything. All business in the summer was concluded early and it doesn't appear our m.o. is to do late dealings. Hope I'm wrong

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has warned Manchester City off trying to sign Blaise Matuidi

Recent reports have suggested that City may make a January offer for 23-year-old French midfielder Matuidi, whose current contract with PSG runs out at the end of the season.

The Ligue 1 giants themselves have been linked with a number of big names, but the club's president insists that they always try to follow the rules while trying to sign players and expect their rivals to do the same.

Al-Khelaifi has also admitted that PSG tried to sign Hazard from Lille in 2012, but backed out once they realised that Chelsea were in an advanced stage of negotiation.

"Interest from Manchester City in Matuidi? I am not worried because they know that if they touch one of our players, then we will be in opposition to them, and we will go and contact their players too," he told L'Equipe.

"We respect all clubs, but if a club tries to buy one of our players, then it will have to face consequences.

"I don't aim this at Manchester City, as from what I know, they did not contact Matuidi."

Bild just put headline "Dzeko never closer to Dortmund" and by article they are ready to pay more then 20 mill. but probably crap.
