Happy for the lad that he got his goal. Still looks rusty and unfit to me, which is to be expected.

He looked fucked after about 10mins in the second half. Could do with cutting out the flicks though.

I'm sorry but that's what happened.

His from Montenegro though, perhaps they do it all the time over there. Whereas for me, that would signal something like "I love you guys, I want to live here all my life and have babies that play for Manchester City", for him it might just mean "the rain's not too bad and I just scored, yey!".
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Can we expect him to be getting lots of goals or is he more likely to be getting the assists.

No, he's not a natural striker, but he is a well capable finisher.
He'll slot in anywhere up front or even top of midfield, but his best position is either off the main striker or left in a forward three imo.

He won't get shit loads of goals, but I reckon more than silva/nasri given a decent run of games.

He looked rusty compared to how I've seen him on many occasions. But he looks lively and hungry as ever.
He has serious footwork when he's on top form, I just hope he stays injury free.

If so, we're in for even more of a treat this season.

Something about him bugs me and I'm yet to put my finger on it. It's eating at me. I think he's going to frustrate me for some reason.

He looks to have a touch of the cat about him. It'll be interesting to see what he's up to when the going gets really tough.

I like how he doesn't need to miss 8 chances before he scores too. Dzeko would have missed Jo's goal deflection or not.

Technically he's a brilliant player and we haven't seen anything near his best in a City shirt. When Montenegro played England he was the best player on the pitch. If he plays like he can do then we have a top player.

So will he start Monday as a "like for like" replacement for Aguero or will Pellegrini go back to Dzeko-Negredo?

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.
