Not one bit of that entire post is true.

The information I posted is from the MEN website, its them reporting this.

Actually I was referring to him posting it was a double swoop, it wasn't. Kompany signed before the take over, de Jong signed six months later. de Jong's contract was expiring in 6 months, in an article they kept trotting out that was 18 months old, he'd signed an extension, but facts didn't entire into the vilification of City at the time.

Right O sorry then, I know at the end of the day all this could be just crap but its looking possible.

That's okay, I got to use the word 'vilification' which doesn't happen often, so I am happy.

Nope. Just a play on words.

Stuart Brennan says both deals are off, could be resurrected in the summer. No more deals.

This after Spencer & the MUEN claimed a plane was on it's way from Portugal, City related.

What a shit awful paper.

I wonder if the story about the plane picked up by the MUEN was planted in order to uncover a leak amongst the staff.

I think Garcia was probably the key to getting Fernando. The trouble is his wages were probably much too high for Porto and we weren't prepared to subsidise the loan plus pay an extortionate fee for someone who'll be a free agent in the Summer. Strategically if you allow yourself to be done over it makes future transfer dealings much harder. There was plenty of stuff saying that Mangala didn't want to move mid season because he worried it would be bad for his chances of playing in the World Cup. Now we'll be in a bidding war with the scum and others for him in the close season. What is clear is that Pellegrini has no confidence not just in Rodwell but also in Nastasic. You wouldn't be prepared a huge sum for a 22 year old otherwise.

MP will also be concerned that the central defenders we have lack pace apart from Vinny. If he picks up another injury we are very vulnerable e.g. Watford. That may have persuaded him to offer so much for a CB. If Mangala is worth that much then he must be fantastic and a cert to play for France. If he is not a cert for France then is he that good? Just makes me wonder but I have nt seen him play.

Well hopefully the WC doesn't drive up their prices. If we really want either or both of them then we need to snag them before the WC so their value can't skyrocket
