'Lucky' City will get found out in Europe, Mourinho claims

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I take the point about him trying to influence officials, but I think by now even they see what it is hes trying to do. I don't think its going to be a problem, the crowd on matchday can influence a referee far more than a manager can in build up press conferences.

Glad to see now he's coming across in England as the sad, uncouth bastard they think him in Italy and Spain.

Sorry Hose but we've had decisions go for and against this season. The difference is when they've gone for us (Sterling offside not "goal" as you put it, Newcastle disallowed goal, Rose sending off are the only ones off the top of my head that can be remotely considered unjust) there is a public outcry and calls for officials to be executed. When they go against us (Newcastle first day, Swansea away and Bayern away, Spurs juggler) they have little impact because we are good enough to outscore the opposition so are glossed over. I see you also mention "Suarez penalty", I take it you mean his theatrical unnatural dive where Lescott pulled his shirt and he flew in the opposite direction? Maybe he should have been more clinical and kicked his legs from under him like Eto'o did. You got away with it. I doubt we'd be that "lucky".

Although im not keen on allardyce, his interview after the game was brilliant, and so it begins, maureen has now turned his bullshit towards us, I really do hope we tear this fucker a new arse on mon, a proper gobshite with no class, and lets us remember the last time we played them!!!!!!!!

We will be found out in Europe.

So not on Monday then? Not when your team comes to town?

Throwing the towel in already are we Maureen?

Whilst I didn't want Mourinho at City, I was looking forward to the circus back in the premier league, as he's always entertaining even if his teams aren't.

But this is like a poor parody of him. He hasn't got under the skin of anyone and even the press seem a bit bored of him. The mind games are so see through that I'm not sure who he thinks will be affected by them. Just hope we destroy them on Monday

What he's saying is that he thinks we'll be beaten by Barca over 2 legs - my 3 key thoughts are: -
1. Despite the pile-up of fixtures affecting recovery times and Aguero missing the first leg - we'll give 'em a game and we stand a fair chance of causing an upset.
2. If getting beaten by Barca over 2 legs under such circumstances is being 'found out' then that would find Chelsea out for fuckin' sure.
3. Maureen's a modern day clown sent to us to be ridiculous and entertaining and the tragedy (there's always tragedy behind a clown) is a cruel punch-line inasmuch as Maureen and a few deluded Chelsea fans are the only ones who don't see his make-up so don't get the joke . . !
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Wenger's at it now. Lucky? Top scorers by a country mile. An injury list that so far has included Kompany, Richards, Demichelis, Silva, Nasri, Jovetic and Aguero (twice). Granted we have had some good fortune with officials ("turning points that go in City's favour" as the Mirror puts it today) but we've had some shit against us as well which is all conveniently forgotten.

Disallowed goal v Newcastle.
Offside goal that Bony scored.
Two Bayern goals offside.
Skrtel shirt swapping.
Spurs juggler.
Bardsley shoving Milner over.

Shit happens. After 24 games we're top on merit. Pair of whingers need to stfu.

Do you not remember when we won the league and one of the papers pulled our every dodgy decision that had gone our way and every one which went against the rags, as if to say we didn't deserve it

I remember it well. As unbalanced as ever. Didn't mention anything that unjustly went against us or in the rags favour as is usual.

It bothers me that united thought they had thrown that season away. If I recall we were well ahead in January and then we dropped a shed load of points. Had we not done that we would have wrapped things up by March.

Jose, just stfu. There are times in life when you have to say nothing and just get on with the job. Monday, for you, is one of those times.

In a couple of months? Looks like he thinks we're going to beat Barca, not to bad eh?

But in a way beefy it is a backhanded compliment.

You don't hear the City mgmt. giving anything but respect to our opponents.

Exactly mate. He 'Chats', as the hip kids say. He obviously rates us highly and his comments show that he isn't so sure of his perceived view.

We'll go about our business in a manner that is condusive to a club that wants not only to play excellent football, but one that wants to do it the right way; a bastion of sportsmanship and fair play, being a role model on and off the pitch. Maureen or Roman could never bring that ethos to a club, instead trying to push buttons with his childish outbursts, something I'd hate to see at City.

Mourinho has it set up perfectly for himself, with all of his media comments in the last few days.

If City win, he's already told us all several times that would happen as we are "far more advanced and ready" to win the title. His squad, apparently, aren't ready yet. So if Chelsea pull of a win, it goes from being 'Chelsea beat City' to 'Chelsea secure one of the most groundbreaking, unthinkable results in football history'.

It's a clever trick and our Mancio used it a couple of times of course.

HOWEVER, what I'd like to know is how Maureen can justify saying Chelsea aren't ready. Look through their squad - experienced pro's with years and yearsof success (Terry/Cech/Cole/Lampard/Eto'o), some of the most exciting young players in the world (Hazard/Oscar) all complemented by an incredible deep squad of internationals. All of this managed by a man who's won more trophies than I've had hot dinners. So, in suggesting that Chelsea aren't ready, is he playing clever mind games, or is he genuinely fucking terrified that we have his number?

Sky showed a clip of him moaning about our spending followed by a piece outlining they've spent more this season lol

I don't think they're buying it.
