What I was going to ask is:
Could we do an Arse?
Now, I'm not trying to get peoples backs up but with all the injuries and number of games coming up that we find ourselves a little worn out. Couple that with the view of many that our squad depth isn't that good (I personally don't believe that) could it be that the drain of too many games begins to have an affect?

Ted Hughes wrote:We can't learn anything from the previous two seasons as this one has a lot more sides battling for one thing and another. To win the league we are going to have to turn in a couple of epic away performances, or Chelsea will have to fold. That means getting through the league games this month first though. After Wed, we have two weeks til Stoke, by which time the injuries will (hopefully) be turning round. So this Sunderland game is imo the biggest game out of any. We have to win this one.

The Sunderland game is the biggest one for me too followed by Stoke. The FA Cup and Champs league is just a bonus if we get through. I see Didi was calling for Yaya to be banned for 3 games on MOTD. Rodwell may have to come on for him.

We can learn from the previous 2 seasons. In both seasons the team bottled it. From being 8 points clear we only managed to scrape it on goal difference due to some very fortunate "mistakes" from a few ex city players in a team that knew they were safe.
Then last year we absolutely shit out and it wasn't even a title race, they just walked it home.
This year we have done the same. We went top on the back of some amazing form and the second we got there the players shit themselves aagain.
It wasn't injuries that beat us 1-0 and it wasn't injuries that got norwich a point. It was our players shitting themselves and now they have to rely on another team bottling it to get back on top.

How we getting on with 'The Season So Far' AG, are we any better or worse than our previous seasons?
Ted Hughes wrote: Don't agree. Last season we were just shit. The season before, we hit the shitters when Savic came into the team & also Yaya fucked off. Then we had our best 11 including Tevez, & pulled it back. This season, if we get our strongest team out, we will possibly do the same again. The Chelsea 11 that started on Monday, was a more balanced, better 11 than the City team. I saw the teams listed & thought we had a problem straight away. I would still think that, if Rodwell or Milner had played. If Nasri, Fernandinho, Aguero had played (with no Nastasic) I would expect us to win, or at least look like winning.
Ted Hughes wrote:If Yaya gets banned for that, City should do a West Ham & threaten legal action.
Get out the vids of Rooney, Gerrard, Van Persie, Terry, Suarez, Wilshire, Scholes, Beckham etc etc etc & show literally scores of similar incidents going unpunished, year in year out, for decades.
I recon there will be several hundred.
