We might not win the league because of this, but if that happens, we must learn from this and get rid of the dead wood from the squad. At the moment, there are a lot of players that should go.
A bit worried, but a long way to go.
However, i think in the next two weeks, we will say goodbye to the FA and Champions League.

To say for sure is ridiculous.
Difficult no doubt, but definitely ? That's bollocks.

For me, we can`t pull this together. We can`t go all the way in all four routes, when we really have 15-16 players that are used almost every time. I think will give the cup away and with Barcelona we will see, it all depends on what we will do at home.
I think that the league Cup final and the league are Pellers top objectives

So what you are saying is Jovetic and Negredo were pulled to save them for Wednesday ?Ted Hughes wrote:phips wrote:so which of Sunderland midweek and Chelsea at the weekend are we going to rest players in in prep for the CL?
We can't rest many players as we don't have enough available, we will have to use them in bits & pieces, as the Count did today with Negredo & Jovetic.

Obviously didn't fancy Milner in the holding role so Yaya did it which hugely limits his effectiveness. Absurd though it is we're down to the bare bones. We need an heroic effort over the next few games to avoid being effectively knocked out of the FA Cup and Champions League plus so far behind in the League that it will be hard to get back. This is a real crisis but Pellegrini needs to earn his corn now.
