May well have dropped a big bollock with the lack of transfer action. The squad is only going to get thinner as injuries and suspensions take their toll. Some of our squad are just not up to standard. Hindsight is great but new signings do give a lift to the place. Chelsea have a couple and look at the impetus its given them.

Just dont understand the Fernando one. If Porto wanted 8m then it should have been paid. If he signs in the summer we'll end up paying close to that now he's signed a new deal. Fresh legs and new style would have given rest of squad a lift.

Abramovic has done some kind of trick with the debt, where they owe about £750 mil to a holding company, but he still has the right to call it in if he gives 18 months notice. Not sure what they've done over the last year or so but they have basically sidestepped it.
