In general terms I don't think we have improved since Mancini was in charge. No worser either. There is a lot made of our goal scoring exploits under the Count but I remember well our six goals at the Swamp and the 5 at Spurs and the 6 and 5 against Norwich under Mancini etc. it's a myth to think we play a new brand of attacking footie. We scored 93 goals in a season in the Prem when we won the league. So far 68 under Pellers. We may not beat the 93 given the away matches we have. MP loves Demichelis but no one else rates him at all. Mancini had the same fixation with Balo. Demichelis in front of Lescott? Barry loaned to Everton? Most managers of any note could put our squad amongst the front runners but will MP push us beyond as Mancini did?

In all seriousness, we've hit a challenge that is of our own success in fighting on four fronts. Test of the man will be how he prioritises resources which are depleted to maximise on one or two fronts.

It was a honest question. I note there is a lot of Blues not wanting to debate the manager, rather turning to tiredness of players and being 'Unlucky'. Whatever it is, it does involve the manager.

Of course you're right mate but the manager of such a team isn't there to do what me or you could, he's paid a huge wedge because he's got the know-how to get the best out of the squad at his disposal.

I think we've let Chelsea steal the baton out of our hand and given them enough to give them confidence to go on and take the title. We are also going through a patch of games that could very well determine our season, starting with a practice run for the Cup final on Wednesday. After that it gets a lot harder.

Somebody mentioned a tough game away to Liverpool. Well, if we lost that then they'd be 1 point off us.

Not that we should be worried though, we score 4 goals a game, don't you know.

I think Barry is better cover for central mid than Demichelis. Yaya and Fern would be our preferred two of course, but Barry could have played against Chelsea instead of Demichelis

Will take a lot to get over MPs tactical master stroke of playing 2 left backs against Barca and Demich in midfield against Chelsea. Garcia at centre back early in the season was nt too impressive either. As for the free flowing football....6-1 at manure, 5-1 at Spurs, 11 goals in 2 games against Norwich etc etc when we won the league. I do like MP but I don't think we have improved under him, though we are not any worse either
