can someone explain to me why demi is starting? he is two years older than lescott and is fucking shite. If pellers doesn't rate nasti or lescott and prefers to use this crock of shite demi, why hasn't the club realised that we can't be using a stop cap as a permanent solution. For a stop gap he gets far too many games and seems to be first choice since he came back from injury, even starting in midfield.

I recon the Count wants someone who charges in like Demi does both at the back & in midfield. Lescott won't do it as he is set in his ways & Nastasic can't defend.

The two attempted signings were exactly to replace those two positions with players who do that imo, & we will see it in operation next season.
