A good season.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

It's already a good season ... 4-0, 7-0, 5-2, 4-1, 6-0, 5-0, 6-3, 9-0 (agg), 5-1, Bayern away win, Barca coming home, we going to Nou Camp, already going to Wembley ... new signings working, new manager working ... already a very very good season ...

Win the League Cup and it goes a notch above that.
Win the Premier League and it goes two notches above ...
Win both and whoa, two trophies in one season ...
Win the FA Cup too and make it a domestic treble ... well, it's quite possible and would be something ...
Win the Quadruple ... Holy mother of ... oh, wait ... if we win the four, we'll have a chance to pick three more pieces of silverware in 2014 :)

Having been in the army myself (as have many on here) this sort of shit from the likes of you fucking embarrasses those who did their service and reflect on their service with dignity rather than going round shouting what a fucking hero you are for doing the same thing as generations and generations of young men since time began.

So let's have it right, none of us - and i mean NONE of us who joined the army did so specifically so we could sacrifice our lives for our country, we did it as a career choice, or in some cases because there was no career choice available.

If being honoured by a fucking celebrity is the confirmation of your 'heroism' for making a career choice, you are nothing but a shallow minded glory hunting cunt.

You are a fucking disgrace to your mates and your unit the way you bang on about it on a football forum, grow the fuck up and get the chip off you shoulder

A good season; being in the hunt for everything just like we are.

We won't win everything because there are other good teams, maybe not as good footballing wise but good as or better than us at other aspects to the game.

I guess we will have to win the champs league for everyone to be happy. Personally I get frustrated by pathetically weak continentals falling over at the slightest touch and generally playing like whimps.

Well said Spartacus - I hate to see people publicly demolished but that the bloke's an almost none stop idiot, constantly bigging himself up and braying his nonsense like a donkey gone wrong - he deserved the slapping down.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

I've been on the radio and in a few different papers and been thanked by various celebs as have many of my brothers in arms. City have also recognised my contribution and given me free tickets in the past. I am part of an elite group of people who have sacrificed to keep this nation free. I don't give a fuck what you think.

Sounds like you watch too much bill orielly or sean hannaty. Defended our freedom my ass. What does a fucking poppy pin on your coat have to do with anything. Too caught up in empty symbolism that has nothing to do with reality.

Congrats for getting in the media and meeting celebrities but flaunting that kind of self promotion speaks more about your ego than any kind of "sacrifice".

I like the WW1 vets better who just shut the fuck up about the war and went on about their life. Maybe you should do the same.

Well said Big Blue - he's always blowing his own trumpet and it's nice to see you sticking a sock in it.

It's a good season when......... we really have so little to worry about on the pitch that our fans spend most of their time slagging each other off........

Still maintain if we beat Sunderland in League cup we will have had good season. A pot is a pot and we haven't had that many that we can dismiss it. Finishing 2nd or 3rd in league would be a shame as I think we have played the better football but it looks like those 2 defeats to Chelsea will haunt us as its a 12 point swing. Still, plenty to yet play for and it is Pellers 1st season after all
