Chavs MOTM

Postby patrickblue » Sun Feb 16, 2014 1:19 am

Took me bloody ages, because I'd forgotten how to do polls.

Anyway, I'm going for Komps.

Looking out for this poll, nice one paddy blue.

Tough one tonight.Lots of great performances.Clichy played really well again and yaya and javi did very well.I was delighted with the work rate of both Dzeko & Jovetic today but Silva just edges it for me.

Kompany was at his imperious best and Lescott's presence seems to help bring the best out in him. Garcia and Yaya looked a real partnership at last. Jovetic did really well but spoiled it with a truly gut wrenching dive. Silva was just awesome and was rightly rested soon as we went 2 up, has to be him for me.

Did you forget to vote for Silva Socs ?

Fairly sure I gave him his second vote earlier on and no movement since.

He looked great tonight always looking to get on the ball.

I went Dzeko as he was string and had a good 1st touch which meant we had time to build and faced less counter attacks.

I was his first vote, just hadn't organised my thoughts for the comment at that point.

Had to agree with the TV commentary team for once in my life. Yaya for me but Silva would probably have got the nod if he had played longer.

Yaya was bossing it all day. That bullshit call for the foul on Mikel still annoys me. Dowd needs a good twatting.

I vote for Garcia twin brother , but i have theory .When we play like yesterday waiting for Chelsea, not surge forward like we always do and then Garcia is left with to much space to cover and without that space hes only real week side (lack of space) witch Hazard and others in that a bit tighter formation could not use Garcia show real class . But he also learn her to use hes size. Last night i was first see why we pay Garcia when i compere Demi on that position.Great game hope he can stay on this level.

Went for Javi Garcia before reading the thread, partly cos he played very well and parlt cos everyone says he's shite! So he must have played very, very well.

Garcia - gave balance to our midfield (that we didn't have 12 days ago) allowing yaya to have the confidence to play more advanced. Didn't put a foot wrong all night

I'll go for Lescott. Shame his goal was disallowed and his partnership with Kompany is the best we have.

Lescott for me, with Dzeko, Kompany, Milner and Garcia all getting honourable mentions.
