They are going to be dangerous no matter who we put in whichever position. They have quality players everywhere.

I think it will come down to our mental state. Our lads have to go in to the game believing they can win and be aggressive like we were on Saturday.
The first 10 minutes will tell us what to expect. I hope we exert our physicality on them early and we start quickly.

I think it will come down to them not giving the ball away so cheaply as against Bayern.

Hold the ball. We don't have to score every other attack. Just score one or two. We can pick 'em off at their place just like Bayern did.

City won games by huge margins when we scored very early in the game, it naturally brings confidence and opportunity to break on counter attack or attack leisurely while keeping the ball.

Wont be the same with Barca, but who scores the first goal might have an impact

Sky sports been showing graphic of Fernandinho's influence on our results - pretty incredible

With him
26 games
81% win rate
3.2 goals per game
2.5 points per game

Without him
5 games
19% win rate
0.5 goals per game
1 point per game

If this is true, I'd seriously shut the player of the season competition right now, and fuck me we need him tonight. Possibly the most under appreciated player ever?
