Gut feeling is that were going to rip them a new one and take two goal advantage to Barca. 4 - 2 City!!!!

I'm not nervous either, just looking forward to it.

I think City are inevitably going to be on par or better than these sooner or later. Tonight is a chance to learn which parts we are close to getting right & which parts are nowhere near it & see if there are things we do better than them.

To suddenly get thrown in with teams like Barca or Pep's Bayern (we should have beaten the pre-Pep version imo) is not something you can practice for. Nights like this are where you learn. Whatever happens tonight, I'm confident that when we've played these teams a few times, we will be at least equal or even favourites to go through the ties.

You can't learn to play Barca by playing crap like the rags or Arsenal; you have to play Barca & test yourself against them.

I don't get nervous before games anymore.

I have wanted this draw ever since Champion's League became a possibility. Win, lose or draw I plan on enjoying seeing my team against the best team of the last decade. Lionel Messi could well surpass all other players as the greatest of all time and he's in Manchester to play City! Come on, who isn't excited about that?

I certainly wanted it as a draw and have got tickets for the kids, just so they'll be able to say they saw Messi play. However, in definitely feeling nervous about it. I could see a 4-0 result either way, which is probably why I'm so nervous - I just don't know what typical City is anymore.

Not only to play City but actually play City as equals - not little minnows in the groups but as a team they would have preferred to avoid!

Now thats something fucking special.

Excited like a teenager going on a first date with the fittest girl in uni - i think i'll last until touching the doors ...

Ironically, that's usually how long a teenager lasts as well.

Is it the the right arm that the pain starts in before a heart attack or the left one?

My fingers and the rest of my body parts are crossed hoping for a win tonight.
But thinking about it, a draw would not be a bad result.
1) we will have a better understanding of what we are playing.
2) we will have to go for a win rather than trying to defend a lead.
3) Aguero will be back to lead the front line and pose a different threat.

Hope it wasn't you but just had to call 999 for a guy in a city track suit top who had collapsed at bottom of Bowker Vale metro link. Paramedics seemed to know him though when they arrived !
