If it works it's genius, however, that line up contains Martin Demichellis.

Specially rested for this game?

Right now I'm pretty pissed off that we have decided to negate our natural formation and tactics when we are home, just because it's Barcelona. The home game is a chance to get a couple of goal cushion and then play tactics away from home.

This better fucking work!

After the Bayern mishap at home we had to go 5 in midfield for this and not go 4-4-2

Can't blame pellers for not wanting to get fucked at home. Bayern made us look silly so cautious makes sense to me

Yes I'm using the app.

That team can win if Yaya and Fernandinho have their track shoes on and bully some little falling-over cunts.

Are their odds on a kolarov red card tho? That could happen.

I hope Pellers proves what we all know that he knows more about football than I do. He also knows Barca better than most so clearly sees Alves as a major threat playing down the right with Messi or that other fella.I still don't see Kolarov as anything close to a midfield player albeit of course he attacks well from full back.

He has been given the trust of the manager so let's hope he proves worthy.Other than that no real surprise.Navas before Nasri isn't a surprise as Samir isn't match fit yet and could be a great sub.

And then we have Demechelis.Time for him to shut a lot of people up with a class performance tonight.Another being trusted by the boss.He has the experience and knowledge of Barca to do it.

You just need to tap the post in the app and then you can see the tweet. It also helps when some posts a link because it gives you the whole link to click.

Sky make me laugh. Usually they wouldn't touch a game not being televised by them however tonight they're all over it. But they keep mentioning the other "big" game they have televised like anyone actually gives a shit.

Great to see dinho back and yaya will probably sit deeper w/ silva just ahead. Neggers should be able to boss them around a bit too with kola and navas putting in crosses.

COME ON CITY!!!!

Common, you all know why Kola is played there. The Beast needs feeding and who else can put wonderful crosses in this squad?

Perfect eleven imho. (except Demi)

Demi is fine too IMO, as one he has more experience, two, he knows Barca having played in La Liga and three, he's rested while Lescott might have had stage freight tonight (as he's not been the part and parcel of the starting XI for so long now).

Looks like a very good side against a very strong Barca team but is Pellers going against everything he's fed to us - 'We won't change'.

Looking forward to this and think we need to win by at least 2 goals to put pressure on at there's. Can we do it?

Of course we fucking can!

Pellegrini is looking to exploit Barca's lack of height..they've just got Pique (and Busquets)
