We really didn't deserve that.

Clichy's looked knackered for the last 20 mins.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I don't think any individual can be blamed for the last goal. We stretched ourselves in the end and there was on margin when they did their thing for the second goal. It was a shame though.

I know. That's what fucks me off. From that angle the only way to score is between his legs so he opens them up like a whore.

Disappointing result but some good performances there.

Pellegrini needs to realise Demichelis is not good enough. If he fails to do this it's going to cost us the league.

But we can go into the second leg with plenty of confidence and a potential line up of:

Hart
Zab Kompany Lescott Clichy/Kolarov
Silva Milner Fernandinho Nasri
Yaya
Aguero

Gotta love the optimism.
Huge ask now. If it happens it will be one of the greatest result in CL history.
Sadly can't see it though.

Unlucky for the lads tonight, at this level though you simply have to take your chances when they come and we did have chances.

If Scouse beat them after they lost on Anfield, why can't we?

Played well, especially 2nd half. You wouldn't have known we were a man down. Big big ask 2nd leg but you never know. An early Aguero goal and its game on. Its all a learning curve for us and this won't harm us in long run

Well the ref aside I ain't disgusted nor annoyed at the team tonight. Thought demi was doing alright till that and still the ref should have given jesus the free kick. Never mind eh? We fought them toe to toe in the second half.

Serg back and hopefully nasri and ferdie 100% match fit for then.

Just so nice to see us play against the very best on our own turf!

1.) It was in 2007
2.) They played the away leg first and won, then lost the home leg.

Robbie Savage says that if we win at the Nou Camp he'll quit working. Extra incentive for the lads.
