why don't we just try to put a early ball into the pen area, instead of trying to go around 3-4 stoke players

Our corner takers are awful, no ability to drive the ball.

we just had a bit of room and what happens, zab comes back and then passes back and then we lose ball, just get a quick ball into the area, mind it would help if a couple of our players keep up with play

Our style seems to have completely changed. We've slowed things down and are trying to pass the ball into the net like Arsenal. Negredo has been anonymous, whereas before he was hugely influential.

I know Shawcross is a wanker but does he need to do it while lying on the pitch?

11-man defence to break down.

Patience is the key. And width would help as well.

We do this too often. Ball passes half way line then yaya will get it and turn and spend a good five seconds looking for a killer pass by which time stoke have got back and organised. We are much better with better tempo going forward.

When our players have much better individual skill than the opposition we need to use it - so fast paced one touch stuff and pressing high up the pitch when we don't have it. We would force Stoke into so many mistakes...

We are not allowed to attack till Stoke have 11 behind the ball.

How flat are we today?
