Somebody pls check and post who do Chelsea play in the league before and after their second leg?

They have Villa away before and Arsenal home after.

Home against Benfica in the 1/4 final and hopefully it will be at the Etihad.

Superb news. Take it its not two legs then?

Nope just a one legged affair. Top result that.We qualified for that game with a nil nil away at Bayern as well so that's two great defensive efforts away from home in a row.

So conceivably they'd rest for Villa so they can play the best lineup vs Gala. Then they'll be knackered vs Arsenal only 4 days later and might drop points (although it is at The Bridge). Best case scenario seems like

Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Very encouraging indeed. Gritty, clean sheet performances are not something you would particularly expect from a side which plays the way City do, & it shows that the lads have got a bit about them as well as talent.

Re Chelsea: having just watched it, I found that performance very encouraging.

Mancini made an absolute dogs arse of it & as usual tried to win the game himself with clever arse tactics which just handed it to Chelsea on a plate, but they weren't good enough to accept the gift, & once Mancini accepted his tactics were ridiculous & balanced the team, Chelsea could have actually have lost a game they looked like winning 5-0.

They seemed to reach another level v City, which they have not reached v anyone else, but I recon it was just purely down to us being knackered & shit on the day. They are not that good.

Swansea out of it then, let's see how Spurs fare now.

Sandro is doing a good impression of a firework, complete with chin fuse.

I caught some first half highlights of the Juve game and wondered, who do you guys think is better and who would you rather have at City: Pogba or Vidal?

Vidal and Vidal.

That one was easy. He would fit better in our 4-4-2 and be suited alongside Fred in a 4-5-1 with Yaya pushed up behind the striker.

Andy Townsend doing the Spurs' game is on the verge of ripping his shirt and tie off, running in front of the camera and beating his chest while screaming "COME ON YOU SPURS!" I've rarely known bias like it. Is this the same Andy Townsend who sighs and tuts his way through City's matches?

Now Townsend is back sounding like Frank Spencer again. Are there two of him?

Phew, an English club is through! But was it a sending off, especially as it changed the game?

I though Spurs did far worse than what he was sent off for.

You could see from the slow motion replay there was contact - his head jolted unnaturally from the impact. It doesn't matter whether he made a meal of it or not, he was headbutted.

For a rather expensive squad he doesn't seem to be getting the best out of them.
