You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

One decent tackle (from which he was arguably caught flat footed In the first place...) doesn't mask the fact that he's been utter shite. So has everyone for what it's worth

Just look at this (click to make it full)

Image

We have in our back 4 games when they did the same thing and won 1-0. What changed? Nothing.

What are we doing about it? Nothing.

Why?

Because we are pricks. We will win fuck all this season. When you fail to concentrate and motivate yourself in a final, you are a bunch of pricks that don't deserve shit.

Feel genuine sick of this performance.

I'd been saying all week that we should go with Javi Garcia, alongside Fernandinho and Ya Ya in the centre of the field, albeit that Ya Ya would have a licence to play farther forward, behind a lone striker - Kun.

It's not too late to change; because we will get caught out again - and we're looking like we're having another one of our 'labouring' days.

I fear Pellegrini is just becoming too arrogant - we will play the always have, against English teams.

Second best to everything and exactly how Poyet would have scripted that half.

So, so poor.

These players want to be remembered as club legends but haven't turned up in the last 135 minutes of cup finals. It doesn't work like that.

Up for cup, eh?

For fucks sake.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

This is Wigan on repeat so far...

If i was manager, I would be going Mike Bassett on our lads at half time! Why the fuck do we even bother playing if when we get to finals we show fuck nothing on the pitch!

They need to screw their heads on quick or this game is lost!

Some of our best players have a habit of dragging the team down when they decide they don't fancy it, and they're doing it again today. You know who I mean.

Every time Yaya is not at it he always spends too much time rolling around "hurt" after a heavy tackle rather than getting the fuck up.

THEN spends the next 5 mins jog limping as if to justify his appealing in vain

This was always going to be awkward until/unless we scored.

What Kompany did for that goal, was absolute fucking tripe, disgraceful, cocky, fucking lazy arsed defending. Easy two v one situation & we fucked it up, same as in the league game.

They know now, if they nick a goal from a corner or when we are pushing forward, they probably win the cup. Made a difficult game very very dangerous with a moment of utter stupidity.

An excellent suggestion, mate as Dzeko is about as much use in this match as a chocolate fireguard. Just saying the same thing to the Mrs & kids about putting Javi Garcia on and taking off Dzeko with Yaya playing behind Sergio. The one good thing is we cannot play as half-arsed and shite as that in the second half.

Not happy.

Interesting. One team has a plan working 100% with all their players seemingly getting everything right. The other is City with no special plan just play the way you do even against a parked bus and with some players not at their best.

Sadly Kompany has to take the blame for it although the media will still blame Demic. They had one player forward and Kompany was the covering center back. All he had to do was see it out but he failed.

Going forward we are too slow and there isn't enough breaking from the midfield to trouble Sunderland and we haven't really posed much of a threat. So far that is.

What needs to be changed? Not the personnel for me but simply the energy and attitude. If it's not happening in 10 to 15 minutes then changes must happen and no doubt Navas will be one but I have a feeling for Milner being the man.We MUST NOT concede another.
