Aguero and Zaba both started for Argentina and Vinnie for Holland and Yaya for Ivorians. Fingers crossed

Some feedback from Romania - Argentina.

Sergio looks fit, played about 60 minutes, missed two good chances, Zaba as his usual and Pants had one of the most impressive saves i saw in football.

Still 0-0 in the 85 minute.

PS: Messi puked a couple of times.

Hasn't that happened to Messi on another occasion whilst on international duty in the last couple of years?

Stan Collymore just saying Luke Shaw is good enough to be as effective at full back as Philipp Lahm. That's some statement. Will watch with interest as we have been linked

Anyone else get any sort of sense of pride to watch two former MCFC academy Goalkeepers playing for their representative Countries at Wembley!

Thought both of them had good games tonight, when called upon. Also couldn't help but noticed how similar a technique they both have with their "starfish" save that they both do.

I remember, quite fondly, the days when the two of them both enjoyed starts for the club under Sven, with the two of the impressing.

Trevor Francis & that other twit who does the Spanish football discussing who will play upfront for Spain & whether Diego Costa has done enough (no he hasn't) to get the nod, because they have such talented forwards 'Llorente, Torres, Soldado..'

Am I living in some parallel fucking universe ?

Fantastic goal from Fernandinho!

He's making it impossible for the manager to leave him out of the Brazil squad these days.

£600k, ending up at roughly £1.5M due to international appearances.

I did know that he came from Shrewsbury, but I always thought that he spent at least a year or two working through the upper end of the Academy, or the Reserves at the very least. I know he wasn't a True Academy product.
