Wow that was crap wasn't it.Wigan started quickly showing us they meant business and we basically haven't started at all.

Hard to know what to say as we don't seem to have a player playing well (Lescott apart) but when you have him on the edge of the box hoping to play some intricate football with Nasri you know you have it wrong. No energy,no apparent plan and a center forward in Negredo who is the brother of the one who was very good a while back.He is currently clueless.

So let's see what MP changes and whether we can shake off the lethargy to get into this game.Without Silva it ain't going to be easy as Wigan look very comfortable so he needs to come on now.

As for Michael Owen just switch him off.

If Pellers is using this game to decide if Lescott or Demi should play in the Barca game, i think he's just got his answer.

Sorry my mistake..Demi is banned for Barca.

What a strange half of football, I'm fairly lost on what to say. There was nothing from midfield and nothing from the attack. It's unusual to say of late but we are what I can only descibe as 'Shit'.

As mentioned, we need Vinnie on the pitch to give a little leadership and bring the players together, Yaya just doesn't have the same effect. Without Vinnie and Zaba we look rudderless.

Second half, get off your arses and start playing football. Uwe has set them up well and they're hard to break down, basically playing 6 in the middle. We need to get control of the midfield and get passes in behind them. At the moment, we're playing into their hands.

As for the commentary, fuck you Owen, I've made my decision. BT will not be in my house in the foreseeable.

When has Demechelis ever let us down? Brings real experience to our defence.

It would be fantastic if we could start the 14/15 season without either Demichelis or Owen.

Or we could try Owen at centre half and find out if Demechelis talks a good game. Let's be honest, it couldn't be any worse.
