I don't know if' it's to do with this sports science training, but we seem to have our fair share of glass footballers at the club, this massively puts pressure on other players when the game are being played every third day.........What's the solution. Change the training programme, offload the glassbacks or both?

I think we forced him again last night in a game that really was lost from the start. We really have this ”talent” to buy players that got themselves injured at the first chance they have. Look at that cunt Hazard, no injury since he came at Chelsea and he played a shit load of games.

Aguero is one of the best signings in the history of the club.

No doubt, but he never was fit for a full season like Tranny or Messi were.

No, so we need to find another player who does a similar job, even if they are not quite at his level.

I tend to think he might have been right in regard to this, especially the way our campaign has gone.

It's not feasible though given the restrictions on squad size.

Is it his hamstring?
How long is he out for?
Was it just cautionary?
Or an excuse maybe to take him off, given he was having a seriously off day?
Florida Blue wrote:If you notice a lot of our injuries of a muscular nature are re-occurrences of the same injury, which is something that is not unrealistic. Once you strain a hamstring you are more likely to strain it again. Maybe in the same spot, maybe another spot that was weakened by the first injury. Additionally, muscle injuries aren't always at the point of the injury, so a person with an imbalance in their left calf can easily strain a hamstring muscle on the same side, or even the other side due to compensating for the imbalance.
Kompany has had quite a few different injuries, Aguero and Jovetic seem to be repeating the same one. I suspect a lot of Micah's issues come from his knee issues in the past. I recently strained my hamstring, and have had calf issues in the past, and I am certain after much diagnosis by doctors and physios that the issue is with my feet (gait) and not where my injuries are. While I have remained relatively healthy because I have work on my feet and supporting muscles, things still happen. Granted I am older and not an elite athlete, the body does what the body does.
Sport medicine has advanced, training as well, but football is a high intensity sport, once you have an injury, you can do the best you can to prevent it, but they will still happen, and possibly more frequently.
