I also agree that it's wrong to call it a 'champions league', next year Liverpool will likely be in it and they haven't been champions for donkey's years! They should change it so only the champions qualify. And maybe the domestic cup winners too, at least they'd be champions of something! Plus it would make the cups a lot more competitive!

I would prefer a Champions League with only Champions in it & a Europa League restricted to the rest of the teams who would normally be in the Champions League.

Less rounds, bigger games. Both would be excellent competitions.

It's purely about money though, so that won't be allowed. They'll make the Champions League bigger if the likes of rags & AC Milan start missing out on it.

Not going to vote... Id rather win the PL twice than the CL once.

I'd love to win the Champions League. But if it was a choice between the Premier League and the Champions League, it'd be the former every time. If we do win the Champions League then, for me, it must be in a season in which we win the Premier League as well, no way should we sacrifice the latter for the former.

I agree - CL being champions - 2nd/3rd/4th arent fucking champions.

It is the Corrupt League - more teams and more games but always weighted in favour of the key teams even before taking to the pitch.

Winning the PL is the big one all day long - third season in the CL and i'm bored of it. Never bore of the PL and would never be bored of the feeling of winning it and having the gold badge on the shirt!

Difficult one to answer because they go hand in hand. How often have we heard "so and so will struggle to sign the top players because they are not in champs league"? It's a fact that the best footballers want to play in champs league. Therefore to recruit them we have to be in top 3 or 4 of Prem and qualifying for the competition. If we have then, some of the best players, as we are in the champs league, then by definition we have a very good chance of winning the Prem.

Given a choice I suspect most fans would choose the Prem. I then think most players would choose Champs league, as would most chairman/owners. Thats where the revenue is.

I personally favour the domestic title. Thats the bread and butter, the week in week out slog and grind with all the ups and downs a season brings. That said, the games v Bayern or Barca or Madrid are special. Maybe it's because we haven't as yet won them very often and got used to them is why we prefer the league. I know a few dippers fans and to a man they prefer Europe to Prem. Maybe because they've had a lot of success? I don't know.

I certainly don't like aspects of European football. The incessant rolling on the floor. The lack of good hard tackles. Referees favouring certain clubs. The cliquiness of the whole UEFA organisation. However, there are benefits. The best players are on show. The money it brings in. The exposure and susequent benefits.

Its the old adage of cant live with it, cant live without it imo

I have to admit, reading that felt a little bit like tennis.
