He didn't even get the maximum sentence despite lying about how much he owed at every corner.

Hoeness speaking last year! He really is a horrible man!
"If Financial Fair Play is taken seriously by Michel Platini then Bayern, and all German clubs, have very good chances because most conform already," he told the magazine. "Of course, change will be very difficult if Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain are allowed to go on making big losses, but if Mr Platini is tough then German clubs have a very good chance because the infrastructure and crowds are better than anywhere else.

"The Malaga punishment was a good beginning. This gentleman [Al-Thani] did not pay his bills. He lived beyond his means. But I hope this was only a start. If they kill the small clubs and let the big ones live then that is not okay.

"I hope that one day one of the biggest is killed. The sooner the better. I would be very angry if UEFA did not sanction clubs with big debts. I have asked Platini a hundred times and he says, 'Uli, don't worry. I will look after it', so I will take him at his word."

Hoeness said he was proud that Bayern were able to make significant signings without going into the red.

Bayern Munich: the Schutzstaffel of the football world. I'd have a party if the club went into administration, or blew up or something.

Well he was sentenced to go to jail. However , as is expected. His Lawyers will appeal.

The thing is , it would send the wrong signal to other Germans that are in the same predicament. Own up , and go to jail .

So perverse as it sounds , the thousands of other 'Steuerfande' who want to freely admit the error of their ways, might not now do so.

Therefore , on appeal , he might just end up with a fine.

The latest is that he will not contest the sentence . Which means he will be in a halfway house and be freed after 21 months.

Allowed to go home during the day but overnight secured.

Such places are like here in Switzerland, almost three star hotels.

München is also a very beautiful City .

It makes me proud to think that that 'gang of thieves' are worried that we're about to grab ourselves a big slice of their slushfund-financed dominance.
And like hell they care about the other German clubs. Why do they think they're renaming the Bundesliga, the Bayernsliga?

The Bundesliga = The "there's only one tean can win it " Liga. Yep - really good for competition that, so long as you are Bayern.

If Platini had an ounce of decency within his corpulent frame, he'd be embarrassed to the point of mortification at the way that SS OberGruppenfuehrer Hoeness has praised Bayern and their PanzerGrenadiers as being the paragons of financial probity and pecuniary stability.

If I were the Fat Frenchman, I'd now want to distance myself as far away from this pontificating piece of pond-life, as was humanly possible, on the grounds that "the more you handle pitch, the more you become besmirched by it".
