Interesting to see if yaya is pushed right up as 2nd striker or whether it's a genuine 5 in midfield, in which case it's a change of plan for the Count in a league game. Either way, it's only one striker.

Can only think of Chelsea away, where he has done that.

If it works, it's a potentially more solid system to suit away games at Arse & Liverpool in particular.

If it doesn't, it's back to 4-2-2.

I've been thinking all week that we should go 4-2-3-1 to this game so I'm pretty pleased with that. Would've preferred JL obviously and also Kolarov to Clichy but can't have it all I guess.

Hart
Zabba - VK - MD - GC
Garcia - Fernandinho
Nasri - Yaya - Silva
Dzeko

That's still a quality line up.

COME ON YOU BLUESS!

Im happy with the team selection, even with the ponytail starting, although Shane Long could pose a threath with his pace. Wanted Javi in the team along side Ferni, with yaya further forward. Dzeko has to fucking score sometime...

Goals from silva, dzeko and yaya.1:3 city win.

Come the fuck on city!!!

Hmm. So apparently two players are so poor you don't even consider them to be on the pitch.. One must be Demi but who's the other one? ;o)

Demichelis starting is fucking ridiculous. Pellegrini is so wrong on this it's going to keep costing us matches.

I really don't have any confidence Pellegrini will ever sort the defence out.

Picking the porn star will cost the manager his job. If he can't see MD is not up to the task, he does not deserve to be at the club.

Demi starting effectively gives them a one-goal head start, and to be honest I reckon they'll score one more. We therefore need three goals and I'm not entirely sure where they'll come from.

Ah well, at least the fucking rags won't win anything this season.

The Count has very cleverly protected Demichelis by putting the pace of Garcia in front of him.

Sorry but I have to agree with the above.
Dummycareless and Garcia in the same side does not fill me with confidence

Let's hope that Dzeko can be arsed today!

It really is verging on the ridiculous at this stage.Every man and his dog has been questioning the selection of Demichelis, he's been shocking time and time again.Even the motd brigade at work are aware hes costing us games.

I like what Pellegrini is doing in general but the insistence on selecting Demichelis is baffling me.Does he not even feel his performances warrant a dropping?

Yaya's got to be playing off Edin otherwise what's the point in playing Garcia?

Looks a decent team and can't really complain about the selection. I'm just hoping we keep a similar shape to what we are used to as a change could see us a little less confident.

Come On City!!

Disagree. Garcia has been fine recently. Demichellis on the other hand is gash!

We just don't have another fit CB. Nastasic is raw but will prob be ok. Lescott is finished.
