Weekends Other Games

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Weekends Other Games

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Mar 15, 2014 8:29 am

As we're the early KO, it'll give the other clubs around us a chance to see what they have to do and mentally prepare.

Here's hoping Villa can get something in the late game and although it feels dirty, the Rags keep the Dippers at bay. Be nice to see Spuds do something at home to Arsenal but in all likelihood they'll fold quicker than a 2-7 offsuit.

Today

Everton v Cardiff 15:00
Fulham v Newcastle 15:00
Southampton v Norwich 15:00
Stoke v West Ham 15:00
Sunderland v Crystal Palace 15:00
Swansea v West Brom 15:00
Aston Villa v Chelsea 17:30

Tomorrow

Rags v Dippers 13:30
Spuds v Arse 16:00
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Chelsea away at Villa, Scouse at rags.

Of course both SHOULD win, but it's a completely different game when the stakes get higher.

i can realistically see Villa drawing with Chelsea as Chelsea look to the CL match midweek.

and, dare i say it, come on United.

I am watching Stoke v West Ham, in case Guidetti comes on.

I hope he fucking appreciates what I'm going through on his behalf, that's all.

The amazing thing about this game is that West Ham scored, surprisingly, from a header. And then to my disbelief, Stoke would you believe, equalised from a scramble at a corner kick. Who could have guessed it ?

Its 1-1 in this game now, Swansea just equalized, but I don't reckon either scorer meant to score

I've watching the 2nd half of the Fulham v Newcastle game. From this it would be hard to believe that Fulham sre in the relegation zone. They're playing well and had a couple of goals disallowed.

1-0.

Odemwingie just scored a goal which could actually be described as good. It was totally the wrong choice to shoot, but it went in.

Two good goals amongst Stoke's 3 but it doesn't give me back the almost 2 hours of my life.

Got to love Chelsea. Will-i-am goes down and the lady phtsio rubs his tummy.

Villa are trying hard but just aren't very good. They are getting into space when they go forward but not seeing anything. If they score first, then it could be interesting but they look like they will fuck up at the back.

Mourinho waving a card to try to get a player sent off. Pressure getting to him? I expect Chelsea to win unfortunately.

What do you mean when you write 'goes down'? Isn't the physio concentrating on the match ?
