Fernandinho, probably the most consistent player for both halves.

I went with Big Ed, but Demichelis had his best game today. Incredible. Nothing went past him.

Demi for me. They *had* to be targeting him as our 'weak link' today, especially given how Komps has owned Rooney before. I thought he defended very well, - a couple of poor passes - but overall you could see them swarming him when he got the ball and he did very well.

MOTM for me.

Ferdi had a great game but Dzeko edged it for me, two important goals and also tracked back and made some good challenges in the 2nd half when we seemed to be flagging a little. Worked very hard today.

Dinho!!! Goes about his job with confidence, keeps the defence safer and gets forward when he needs to rather than just charging forward headless. And to think we worried about someone replacing De Jong!.

Edin close second. Put himself about a lot, held the ball up and got two goals!

Why isn't there a Cleverly option? Anyway, I've gone for Fernandinho.

Could have been Silva or Fred, went for Dzeko.

Confidence player if there ever was one. First touch and hold up play was excellent, challenged for headers throughout and scored two goals. Can't ask anymore from a centre forward.

I've gone for Silva because he is just sublime but as with other top team performances there were a few candidates.
I was surprised Zaba didn't get a broken leg when Welbeck careered into him.But then again we are talking about Zaba and then he had to just take a fore arm smash.

Vinnie excellent,Demic exceellent so what does shrek do, retreats to the half way line to try and get a look at the ball.

Well done Edin right place right time for the first one but the 2nd was just superb.

Doug, i would still have my faith even if he is run over by a tank. Most devoted player i've seen playing for us.

i had to give it to Silva just pure magic , Edin close second run like mad today , he was closing a fullback in our corner at one point
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I'm going for Edin, he scored the important goals today! Tracked back brilliantly tonight too, whenever Wazza did it Tyler creamed himself, Dzeko did it all game without praise!

Yaya played well Ferna is just awesome, Dave showed why he is one of the best in the world, so many other deserve a mention! Can't think of anyone who played below a very high average!

This is how it feels to be city!!!!

Dzeko for me. Scored two, ran his bollocks off and didn't give rags defence any time. A proper forwards performance
