If Everton win their game in hand and then beat Arsenal in a week and a half, they leapfrog them.

We could do Everton a favour if we beat them and go some way to getting revenge for Arsenal's instigation of Premier league FFP.
If God is sky blue, please make it happen - I would love to see them finish outside the CL places.

If I was a betting man I'd put huge money on Gerrard getting booked (on purpose) today.

Also, big night for La Liga

Blue Wine mentioned that last night in the pub. It wouldn't surprise me if he has.

I just looked at what the return would be for the following to all happen

Liverpool win
Suarez to score
Liverpool clean sheet
Gerrard Yellow card

£4 bet returns £6!! Nailed on certainty for Gerrard to get a yellow

Does anybody honestly think that Arsenal will fall out of the top 4?

Maybe but they'll have their usual last minute run to make fourth and prove Wenger a genius.

If they continue in their current form then yes it is likely. But I think they will pick it up a bit (after we beat them) and make 4th.

What are the chances of Sunderland doing us a favour tonight? Pretty poor chances I think.

I don't just say about Arsenal because of their 'Bounebackability', I say it from a point of how they seem to escape it everytime. Remember the Brom game a couple of seasons back where Brom had nothing to play for. For that game they actually changed the keeper for some unknown reason who then went onto gift them at least 2 goals, one which they needed to win the game. It also happened a season or 2 before (against Wigan, I think) where the ref just allowed Arsenal to do what they wanted.

Dodgy as hell if you ask me.

Gerrard will get himself booked here to dump his 2 game ban prior to their games against us and Chels, nailed on.

Interesting to hear Sky pundits making every excuse or compensation for Liverpools dodgy back 4, whereas if it were us it would be highlighted as a sign of our fallability and why we wouldnt win the Prem. Itd be nice if we got the same balance but we never do.
