Silva was majestic.

Garcia had a really good game on both positions!

Mason is bent as they come and definitely has an agenda against us

I'm not having that. If he did, he'd have given the pen against us.

Incompetent yes. Agenda no.

As a spectacle of football, perhaps not. There have been times when our play has been sublime, times when I can't believe I'm watching Manchester City.

However, I suspect that if we progress to winning the premiership we will look back at this match as the game that changed everything. Having just been dumped out of two cups, playing away from home, and with our skipper dismissed after ten minutes, many of us were thinking that the title was gone.

Make no mistake, had we lost, or just scraped a point, Chelsea would have won their game put and the premiership almost certainly out of reach.

Now I believe we're back in the driving seat, thanks to a brilliant team performance when our backs were right against the wall.

That reminded me a lot of our victory at West Brom last season and we were superb.
Often people assume that with ten men every player suddenly has to run round like a headless chicken, chasing every ball but that's not the case at all. You need to stay tight and compact, keeping your shape and discipline and we did exactly that.
It was a huge win and it means we can afford to lose one of those tough away games although we can't afford to think like that.

Maybe playing with Beast last few games has got the players accustomed to playing with 10 men?

Result of the season definitely, we've played better though, both matches against spurs to name but two.
I find myself in the very unusual position of wanting the rags to win today!! Sorry if anyone finds this statement offensive.
The perfect weekend will be if Arsenal & Liverpool drop points today.

I was well impressed until that rag cunt bosnich brought me back down to earth with his 1st sentence after the game not being about the stuff title winners are made of, guts, determination or any other compliment. Nope the fucking cock went straight to cheque book talk 30 secs after coming back to the studio. Wanker.
Tracking back is overrated.

No chance. First it was against a poor side and 2nd if we had played really well it would have been at least 6

The swampies have lost a third of their games this season. Victory, whilst sweet, is no great surprise and the result was good but could have been better. In no way a complete performance and we will need to improve if we want a result against Liverpool.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Not performance of the season. Let's keep in mind, Manure are only a few points better than the like of Southampton.

Keep it in perspective. Great win, but we should be beating the snot out of these mid table sides.

We've lost games playing better than that.

Don't think we really got out of 3rd gear. Quite pedestrian by the standards we set earlier this season and if they weren't so abysmal they could have scored a couple in the first half.

was that not because we didn't need to get out of 3rd gear? We can lift our game seemingly when we want although sometimes leave it too late. I do think with a quality DM we would then have the flexibility of formation to tear any team apart

Obviously. If they had got an equaliser while we were pressing and they countered we would have stepped it up and won anyway. They don't have the quality to stop us. Which is why 3-0 against a shower of shit isn't our best performance. Not when you consider arsenal at home, spurs home and away and others this season.

I don't like seeing us letting the opposition back into matches, it gives them hope - we need to wage psychological warfare against them and dominate from first to last. Ideally they should step out onto the pitch for the coin toss already beaten mentally.
