OTT Scousers.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

OTT Scousers.

Postby Breks » Thu Mar 27, 2014 8:35 am

Apparently 20000 Liverpool fans congregated outside Anfield last night before the game kicked off. They where there to welcome the players arriving on the team bus. Many had pyrotechnics according to reports. This isn't the norm for them and it really does seem that they are getting carried away in believing that they are going to win the title. Rodgers also has warned title rivals that they are getting better every game. These cunts are seriously starting to irritate me, I hope the spuds end their dreams on Sunday.

I was just thinking the same. They are getting very giddy with all the 'Champions' songs and as my Mrs says, 'It'll all end in tears'.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

it was all organised via RAWK to try and get behind the team to keep the momentum going. Got to admit, they have been the surprise package this season along with the rags going the opposite direction.

Liverpool ended last season 28 points behind the rags, this season they are currently 17 points ahead with games to go, thats a 45 point swing. That is absolutely MASSIVE.

They have had the added bonus of going out of cups early and no european games, which has given them an advantage with their limited squad.

I didnt see this coming and even at Xmas when they were top on xmas day and 4th on NYD, I thought that was the end of them. Got to hand it to them, they have done very well, but they still have some difficult games to navigate, as we all have. Difference now is its a level playing field with no distractions, lets start firing on all cylinders and teach them a footballing lesson.

Brendan Rogers is fast becoming the most nauseating manager in football.

Would you blame them for being giddy? None of them could have expected a title challenge.Like ourselves they are also getting a great laugh off the state of the rags this season.Dream season for them so far but hopefully we can bring them back down to earth with a bang at Anfield.

our two "extra" games are both mid week after our two visits to Liverpool. Two tough games while scouse are in the hot tub

My thoughts exactly. They think they've already won. Daft cunts.

Im no great Liverpool fan but why shouldn't there fans be giddy? They've gone 20 plus years without winning the title, and they've had a few years now without CL footy as well, with reality biting them.

This seasons probably surpassed their expectations already so its no wonder they are going gaga over it. They have every chance as well with City and Chelsea to come at home. We will need to be at our best to get a result there but we can do so. However their fans are getting behind them and you can hardly blame them.

I did laugh at Rogers saying all the pressure's on City because of the "money they've spent" - oh, so Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Cissohko, Enrique, Henderson, Allen, Coutinho, Suarez, Sturridge are all academy boys are they? The pressures right on all the top 4 for different reasons, whether they like it or not.

I think its very level Alex, we are 2 points behind with two games in hand (both HOME games against Villa and Sunderland which we should expect to get positive results in)

I hate them. Nearly as much as the rags.

Half way through match they were singing "we're going to win the league, we're going to win the league, your hardly going to believe us..."

I mean come on, i wouldnt even want us singing that if we were top with one game to go let alone third and third favorites for the league.

If they win the league we may aswell all hide for a season cos we will never hear the end of it, there only in the race and there fans have come crawling out of the woodwork i dread to think what it would be like if they won it.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not critical of the fans that are simply getting behind them. My beef is with the dickheads that are going on like they have actually won it already. Also Rodgers is turning Into a real irritating cunt. Like beefy said it will all end in tears.

They almost shit their pants in the last 20 minutes of last nights game against a really bad Sunderland team imo.A better team will tear their defence a new arsehole.

I totally agree with you and that's why they won't win it. They are just heaping pressure on themselves by acting the way they are and with Rodgers making big statements.

Horrible, horrible fans.

I really hope they fall apart, because Rodgers has become such an irritating cunt, it's sickening.
Over the course of less than a year he has become exactly like every Liverpool fan I've ever met. So far up his own arse that he thinks he's already made it.

Their arses went BIG time last night and that was because they are getting giddy. Let's see how they are when Chelsea and City actually turn up at Anfield, because based on what every expert keeps telling us, this is an advantage to Liverpool.
It's a bit strange, because to the best of my knowledge, the fucking rags won when they rolled in.

They beat Arsenal. Heavily. And that is all this bullshit is based on.

Spurs, City and Chelsea to come. 9 points? I don't think so.

It'll all end in self-pity. They're one defeat away from a melt-down, and I'm certainly going to enjoy it.

The Zabaleta song? Imagine if that had been about Colin Bell - we'd have been singing it from 1968 to 2011
