"Anyone but Liverpool" for me too. It would be horrible.

If its not us I'd prefer Chelsea to win it, I don't dislike Mourinho all that much.

If we don't win it they can all suck my plums.

Simples.

I'm very much in the anyone but dippers camp. Mourinho will come and go as will the media wankfest that follows him around. But just imagine the rimming and wanking by the media if the dippers win. It will last years. "Justice for the 96". Its what they deserve. Another minutes silence. Gerrard deserves this, hes such a loyal servant, blah blah blah. They'll probably even try to get a medal for Carragher.

Pray to whoever we dont let this happen

To be honest, Gerrard is probably my favourite non-City player in the league.

I would sooner the Rags win the quadruple than the Dippers win the league. it. If we can't win it and I don't want the Dippers then realistically only Chelsea can.

Still should have been sent down a few years ago. Barton did his porridge for a lot less.

Best case scenario we win it. Worst case scenario we don't win it. Couldn't give a toss about any other team.

Yes. He also captains England and hates Stretford. Two points there.

There is no worse case scenario! We WILL win this! Win at arse and draw away at dippers. Chelsea will do a little fuck up as with dippers. Could come down to last day again but don't feel that we'll get the same excitement as qpr. Deed will be done with one game to go!

If and its just 'if' we fuck up then fuck who ever pips us so long as its not The Moaning One, thieving dippers or miserable Wenger!

People who think that Liverpool winning the league would be the least evil, are either older fans who have gone senile, or folks who were too young to appreciate how it was.

I would rather have Ferguson come out of retirement, put Beckham captain & win the Champions League, fucking twice.

The stream I watched last night; they all stopped talking so we could take in the 'special atmosphere' of a half arsed version of 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.

It would be worse than when the rags won the treble. The bullshit will be of religious level. And it's not about mancs v scousers, it's about everyone v rags. They are the same fucking thing.

If it happens I'll bump this thread this time next year. You have no fucking idea how bad this would be.

Think I fall into the senile camp! I have to admit though that I'd prefer Liverpool to win than Chelsea.
Why? Because:
1. I think they play better football
2. They definitely score more goals
3. I hate Mourinho
4. I think Rogers has done a great job there
5. I'd prefer another team from the NW to win, rather than London.

Can't disagree with the other stuff you say but would absolutely hate it if Mourinho won.

For me, the very "Best Worst-Case Scenario" would be that City wins the Premier League title on goal difference, for a second time. It's essential that City try to keep the goal difference as far from Liverpool and Chelsea's reach, just in case. If City were to win the Premier League on just the goal difference, yet again, there would be endless back-handed compliments and debates about why the team should win by a bigger margin, with the team we have & the money spent. So, as much as we would all still be celebrating a City Premier League win by goal difference, it won't silence City's media critics.

It's not much to ask from life, but I'm truly hoping that City win the league by both points and goal difference this time!

I watched a cup final between the two a few years ago. I lasted less than 2 minutes as I couldn't decide who I wanted to lose more.

I remember how bad they where back in the 80s. I imagine they would be even worse now. Cunts of the highest order.

I don't know how or why I remember this, but didn't you say you went to watch City play for the first time in 1996?

Surprised by the level of hatred for Liverpool, their fans can be insufferable but as bad or worse than the Rags? Come on.

There's not one worse case scenario that's better than the rest for me, each one of them makes me feel equally nauseous.
