I think Arsenal are shot now, but if they can finish fourth in the Premier League and win the FA Cup then that's a major successful season for them. I'd have to say the top four isn't looking great now because I expect Everton to make up three points on them this weekend and then Arsenal go to Goodison Park in their next game. If Everton win that then they will be level on points with a game in hand! I do expect Arsenal to finish fourth, but it won't be a foregone conclusion.

I don't see Arsenal winning this game though. Arsenal won't go out and play 10 men behind the ball because they only know how to play one way - and that will play into City's hands. Manuel Pellegrini has made them look a lot more solid and Edin Dzeko and Yaya Toure are both scoring goals now. They have a big squad and if they win this game, which is a big hurdle, then I think it will take them half-way to winning the league. It's in their hands.

PAUL PREDICTS: 1-3

Lawro Predicts..... no prizes for guessing

Arsenal are missing a few players and they did OK against Swansea to battle back from 1-0 down to draw 2-2.

They won't win the league whether they win, lose or draw this one. They've not got enough.
I'm not sure it's just their mentality in the big games. Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea away - they've conceded eight goals in the first 20 minutes. That sounds to me like they weren't prepared, which is a strange thing.
I saw Per Mertesacker say that they've not come to terms with the early kick-offs. That's really funny, because the opposition have. Arsenal are a good side but they're not good enough.
I was so impressed by Manchester City in midweek. They were very good. In every department they were better than United. They were at a different level in terms of pace and David Silva was the game's best player.
City have the bit between their teeth - they're playing very well. I'm not going to say Arsenal are imploding but City are a much better side and have lots of confidence. They're starting to look like they're full of goals and really dangerous.

Lawro's prediction: 0-2

If Lawro was right every week, we'd win the league with 38 wins and a +76GD.

Surprised at Merse. Usually dislikes us against the Arse. Maybe Lawro was fired months ago and the BBC just roll out the same prediction week in week out to save money on hiring someone else
