That the ball went flying off as the tackle was excellent way before any contact(if there was any) should have been the big give away for the ref, Rooney gets his shit stain coated in glitter once again.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Please !
Schweini is an idiot . It's near united's box and he goes in like that when there is nothing left in the game !
He deserves a good slap.

It s a stupid tackle but he got the ball and Rooney dive so it is not red.

Where do Athletico Madrid get their strikers from? Either they give each one special powers or their scouts are fucking amazing.

Each time they lose a world class striker, they replace them with one just as good.

Let's keep the human refs and wire their nipples up with tasers. If they get a decision wrong, we'll signal them by running 50,000 volts through their body. See how many decisions they get wrong then.

The referee set a precedent with the Valencia tackle. How can he justify not sending off Valencia? The state of football officiating is an embarrassement to the sport.

We slag off Demichelis but he would fucking walk into Bayern or Barca's team.

If either of those clubs played Prem football every week, the usual suspects would study them, suss them out & exploit their awful central defence & mug them too many times for them to dominate the league. They would drop too many points in games v spoilers, like tonight.

The way they pass & harrass in midfield is fantastic but the lack of ideas for a final ball & the soft centre of both Bayern & Barca is a big weakness.

I don't see why we can't keep the ball like they do, but play with more variation & danger around the box, & be more solid at cb.

It's doable imo & we can do it.

By the way; Utd completed the transformation into Everton tonight. Gritty backs to the wall defending, long ball shite football, score from a corner, draw.

Keep it up Moysie lad.

Watching the United v Bayern game last night reminded me hugely of our last four or five trips to the Stadium of Light. All the possession, all the pressing but couldn't work through a very stubborn and well organised defence and end up getting hit by a sucker punch. Only difference is Bayern got a goal back.

It was interesting to see though, that when a team compacts and plays defensively and is well organised like the Rags were, that Bayern really struggled to break them down. For all their possesion how many clear cut chances did they have? Not many.
Chelsea did the same to both Bayern and Barca two seasons ago. Perhaps we ourselves are over-estimating these teams.

I could see the Rags goal coming and wasn't surprised at all, the game just sort of had that feel to it.
Danny Welbeck gave their backline a right scare, they just couldn't handle his pace and he easily had the beating of Boateng. Imagine what Someone like Ageuro could do against him.

Been away travelling the Med for a week.I was able to watch all the premiership games but couldn't get the scum game last night. A few scum fans not very happy with that hahaha.

I knew the score but the first I heard about it was on the radio when I got back saying that Utd achieved a superbly creditable result.I suppose it is when you think how crap Utd are compared to Bayern but 24% possession!

Didn't see the game myself, Mr H, but a friend of mine who did said the Scum were lucky to get even 24%.
