Amazingly neither Tyler or Neville disputed the pen - it's a fucking joke

Sky have just announced "extended build up and post match reaction liverpool v chelsea".

The script is written.

I'll pmsl if redknapp and co have to spend that extended time stuttering about how it didn't happen the way it was supposed to.

I swear Tyler was dying to scream "that memorable evening against the Canaries."

Hope they win the last 3, sneak in to the Europa Lge and Mr Marriage Guidance gets the job after fan campaign HQs in Milton Keynes & Dublin force Steptoe and Sons to pay off Van Gaal for a job he never started.

Much as it would be brilliant if Giggs got the gig it will never happen. The Glazers are not dim. A 'big' name such as van Gaal will sell the rag brand better and as it is all about the money for them, thats where they will go

It seems we're all of a mind here and want to see giggs as the '[strike]cheap bastard[/strike] anointed one'. Christ, next season could be the equivalent of a second, even funnier series of Curb Your Enthusiasm (with added farce).

There's virtually no way Giggs gets the job. They want a proven manager with a big name to appease the sponsors and fans.

How can it be extended, there's only 15 minutes before we kick off and surely they'll want to mention our game?

It'll be via red button or over at Sky Sports News ... every other Sunday it's the same, due to next game starting, they hold back all post-match reactions and analysis on Sky Sports 1 and go over to the next game while all the post-match press etc goes over to SSN ... only thing different this time is the pre-match is on red button (so if you want team news etc and discussion on how weakened a team Chelsea's is or not then that'll be behind red button as the previous game Sunderland/Cardiff would be on at the time ...

Heard lots of Liverpool fans gathered outside Chelsea's hotel last night and kept making loud noises caused disturbance trying to upset Chelsea players and so they can't rest much ...

And in other news Mourinho travelled separate from the team as he has taken ill and didn't want any player catching what he's got!

As Hansen said last night on MoTD that if they win next three games 4-0 as well, there will be a drumroll for him and everyone inside the club and outside will be driving for him ... and then the cheap owners might also consider it given he'll be a lot cheaper than any big name manager (to be brought in, as well we as when it's time to go) ... so you never know we might see more comedy over there.

If Sky are putting an extra pre-match programme on and an extended post-match reaction, it looks like it's already in the bag. Hopefully not but it does beg the question, 'How can they be so confident?'. I don't get to see it over here but if they put compilations of the Dippers season, whining on about Gerard's 1st title and basically shining the Prem Trophy for them then it'll go some way to show there's something not quite right.

As I said, hopefully not and I'm sure every Blue (Chav's, Toffees etc) will be praying for Chelsea to get something out of this, without sleep or not.

Regarding Maureen travelling separately, he was up North, he may have decided to meet up with another club who play in red.

Sky seem to be on the bandwaggon already.
