We Can Do It!

Postby Niall Quinns Discopants » Sun Apr 27, 2014 4:07 pm

Never lost hope and we are very much still in the race. If we beat Everton I think we will win it.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I'm organising a ticker tape parade for the team bus before the Villa game. Anyone available to join in?

Spot the ones who have been reading depressive official match topics all season.

We play before scouse next weekend, the Everton game is going to be like the title year game v Newcastle.

If we beat them I can see Scouse slipping up v Palace

They don't need to loss at Selhurst. All we need to do is win our remaining games and with our better GD that's title in the bag.

If we learnt anything from 2012 it should be to not get over excited after each game. One game at a time, regardless of result.

Exactly. How fucking stupid do the dippers look at the moment with the way they've been behaving over the last few weeks. We've still got three tough games, even if we win today. Let's celebrate when it's mathematically certain.

that Sunderland draw is crucial...in both ways.

thank god Mannone spilled Nasri's shot. but at the same time, how the fuck did we lose? we couldve had a nice cushion.

if we draw or lose to Everton next week then all this is for nought. lets not get carried away.

So many permutations. Imagine:
City draw Everton / win Villa -> 81
Liverpool draw Palace -> 81
Chelsea win Norwich -> 81

Could well be a three way tie going into the final day. Could barely take the nerves in either game tonight and there's a long way to go yet.

Not neccessarily, the scousers still have to win two games & they have blown it at the first sign of pressure.

Again though, Everton is now more important than a cup final & if the players react in the right way, we will win there.

There could be more twists and turns yet. Three crucial games to come. Wouldn't be taking anything for granted.
