I just wish kick off time would arrive. It will not be in any way enjoyable to watch but watch it we must.

I'm more concerned about the Villa game. I've got a bad feeling about that one.

I read a stat today that made me feel a bit better about the toffee game.

Kompany, Yaya, Silva & Aguero have been on the pitch together in PL games for a mighty 216 minutes. This equates to 6.8% of the season.

I'd be amazed if all 4 didn't start tmrw which also means we may have out first choice 11 on the pitch for longer than any other game, assuming they can all last over an hour.

This pleases me!

So far:

Newcastle (h) 61 mins
Everton (h) 33
Arsenal (h) 49
Cardiff (h) 29
Spurs (a) 44

Also puts this seasons injury woes into context, and to my mind, how well we have actually performed.

If we win this at Goodison tomorrow, by the time that Villa game comes we probably could afford a draw in that one and still be top going into the final game ... I genuinely believe that if we beat Everton, Liverpool will drop points at Palace, if not all three, at least two of them ...

But if we drop first and then expect them to do the same, that ain't happening ... so let's worry about his one first and then see what we can it cannot do against Villa later ...

That's a pretty staggering statistic. Our four best players have only been on the pitch together for way less than a tenth of our season! Roll on next season, as long as we can keep them fit!

if we had squad depth in midfield those injuries wouldnt have been an issue.

The two players injured by far the most from those 4 aren't midfielders though...
